1:06 nothing fancy, nothing over the top... just exactly what you need to do your job... with active/passive mode and a 3-way switch for every picup... for 4450€... I think I missed something where a bass for 450 could get the job done too.

Why do assume Dingwall Basses are better?
@ThrashingBasskill6 жыл бұрын
@@AIVacation How do you define "better quality" if one costs over 1k and the other 4k? Above 1k I wouldn't assume a quality difference, it's top notch anyways. Why should Dingwalls then be the best of the best?
@nmnmnm95092 жыл бұрын
My problem is that you can't say it's not fancy, that maple top, matched headstock it's a kind of fancy in the similar way that Warwick is fancy.

Incredible sounding bass guitar. No surprise though. It's Germany. One of the world's best engineering countries when it comes to anything. I really want this bass. It will satisfy my need for a firm, solid, powerful Low B and overall clarity with its multi-scale design. The reason the bass is so heavy is the walnut, maple and ebony wood combination. All of which are heavy woods. Hence the thunderous tone this thing produces. Walnut and ebony in particular are known for the distinctively clear and huge low end. Ebony is also a wood that lends well to touch and percussive styles of play, namely tapping and slapping. This bass should provide tremendous satisfaction for all who will play it. The weight can be handled well with a thick, wide and comfortably designed strap. Well done Germany!!!!! :)

The bass sounds great. And the 36inch scale length should fit a standard long scale set of strings from D'addario - that is cool.

It sounds too piano-like to my taste. The price is according to a hand made instrument in Germany. If made by one person in NY it would cost more for sure.

Many factors are going into what it sounds like. The strings change a lot and then there are tone knobs and stuff... Amp settings, speakers and more.

500-600€ of hardware and electronic, 300€ of wood, the finish, the abrasives and tools, and lot of works. I make instruments for myself, friends and family, I’m sure if I make the same bass and sell it for 1000€ I earned no money and worked for free.
