Creamery pickups are very pleasurable to work with. I wrote to them after reading their name on a magazine, just asking which pickups they recommended for my needs. Jamie just writes back and goes "I can wind one up just for you, no additional cost" and sent it all the way here. It wasn't even expensive compared to other boutique brands. It really turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. I had no idea he did pickups for Franz Ferdinand!

I' ve been trying to replicate FF sound for years and this helps a lot. I know it's a simple rig but I could never manage to make it sound quite right so now I have the push forward I was needing.
