I was very trepidatious going into it. The previews did not look that good. However, I did find myself laughing quite a bit and I agree with Terrance, pilot episodes are always the worst. They're rough, clumsy and everyone is finding their footing but the laughs were there! It had the feel of a farcical stage play, which both Cheers and Frasier had. The 2nd episode did not have as many laughs but the characters were more comfortable and the story was much smoother. I can see this getting better and better once they slip in to the characters more easily. It took the original Frasier and least 2 seasons to really find its groove.
