Speaking of Technical Difficulties, team 1502 (Technical Difficulties) won Impact at the FIM Ann Arbor event. Something really cool from the Ann Arbor event that I haven’t heard anyone talking about: Rookie team 9672 (Colon Magi Robotics), showed up with an unassembled kitbot, but by the end of the comp, they won Rookie All-Star. Surely not the first time a rookie team showed up with no bot, but here’s the crazy part: Team 9672 consists of one freshman. That’s it. So some other teams (67 HOT and 302 Dragons mainly) banded together to help this kid build his bot and form a driveteam. Pretty sure the robot inspectors or some of the other volunteers even helped make the bumpers. Like, name a community other than FIRST where there that sort of thing would happen! I found it so inspiring that so people got together to help, and also that this one guy had enough dedication to found an FRC team, deal with registration and everything all on his own, and as a freshman no less.

yeah, i was at the event for team 862, and we lended a human player over to their team. it was pretty cool seeing 9672 go, and im gonna be honest, they were a killer defense bot. im serious. really hope that 9672 gets more members next year, because that one freshman is such a cool dude.

such a good channel and a good way to keep track of what's happening in other districts cant weight for converge on the isr dis champ (we were number 15 and didnt get picked on my final season so thats sad but it the highest weve been in dis champ for a while and thats good)

I felt Tallahassee Match 38 deep in my soul. Also, that Conga line reminds me of a moment at Houston Worlds where like 100 people just did that vine run to Take on Me, and it was glorious! GO VOLS!

us at team 3853 had one of our swerve modules fall apart mid match at the az east regional and still managed to stay in second place

Some silly stuff happened at finger lakes Regional when I was competing with 1126 SparX and the amp for blue alliance would count two hundred per note. Also at Pittsburgh regionals on week I forgot, 3015 died at the apposing alliances stage zone and they kept getting tapped by the stages alliance and got over 40 pts of penalty points by all alliance members

Hey, here from North Bay, ON We’ve had several field faults every match. As amp-only bot, we’ve had amp problems and also speaker issues.

We had a match with 10 notes in the amp, where only 1 counted.

Us too at Arkansas. In a playoffs match, the Amp just- imploded? Near 20 seconds of the match left. We replayed it (lucky, as we were losing, but the other alliance had one of our best friend teams) and we won. Even then, that's a serious problem, especially with how many times it's happened overall this season
