Freaks & Geeks - 1x17 - "The Little Things" (5/5) [Subtitulos]

La trama se centra en la vida de una adolescente, Lindsay Weir y de su hermano menor Sam, ambos estudiantes en el instituto McKinley durante el año escolar 1980-81, en Míchigan.
Sus respectivos amigos son los que constituyen por el lado de Lindsay los freaks (inadaptados) y los geeks (empollones) por el lado de Sam.
La serie comienza en el momento en que Lindsay empieza su transformación de brillante estudiante con intachable expediente académico especialmente en matemáticas y chica responsable a adolescente que empieza a alternar con chicos problemáticos a los que los estudios prácticamente les traen sin cuidado. Las relaciones con sus nuevos amigos y los problemas que ello le conlleva con sus padres y anteriores amistades constituyen el eje central del show. Por otro lado está la vida de Sam y sus amigos geeks que luchan por encontrar un lugar en el que encajar en su nueva etapa de estudiantes de instituto.

*IMFORMACIÓN SOBRE LA SERIE:
Freaks & Geeks es una serie de televisión estadounidense creada por Paul Feig y producida por Judd Apatow que fue emitida inicialmente por la cadena de televisión NBC en la temporada 1999-2000.
A pesar de que la serie fue muy bien recibida por la crítica especializada e instantáneamente se convirtió en una serie de culto, los continuos cambios en su horario de emisión entre otras causas hicieron que su cuota de pantalla se resintiera y fue cancelada tras la emisión de doce episodios.
Tras una campaña de protesta por parte de fans de la serie, la NBC emitió 3 nuevos episodios en julio del 2000 para volver después a cancelar su emisión. Tres nuevos capítulos serían emitidos ese mismo año en septiembre después de que la cadena Fox Family Channel se hiciera con los derechos de la serie. Con posterioridad la serie completa se editó en DVD.

They did kinda describe Cindy's home life in a previous episode where she's not allowed to eat junk food or watch TV u can tell her parents don't really treat her like anything other than a tool who they expect great things from her and making sure she succeeds and im sure her friends treat her pretty bad I guess she only liked Sam because he's the only person who doesn't treat her like shit but sadly she took advantage of that for that she has my sympathy
