Why does it have to be large market team to be in the HOF? Football is football. No, matter if you played in New York or Jacksonville. Fred Taylor and a lot of other Jacksonville jaguars played against the best, competed against the best, had great games against the best, and defeated the best of best nfl had to offer during their era. Now, they can't get in the HOF just because they play in a "smaller market?" That sounds biased as hell. That's not football, thats politics! Sad bro! @@Chiefland7 the top running backs are playing their best position, but that doesn't mean that players who become WRs and QBs wouldn't have been better running backs than those top running backs. Conversely, look at how effective a thrower somebody like LaDainian Tomlinson was. Met Fred Taylor in 2001. He was one of the coolest/nicest people I have ever met. Definitely should be in the Hall of fame. If Terrell Davis with his stats is in the Hall, Fred Taylor should be in for sure.

Taylor was drafted the same year Randy Moss was back in 1998. I drafted BOTH (laughed at hysterically by my buddies) in my first and only ever fantasy league. I took every dollar (two pools) in an 8-team league. It was fun. Fred was an incredible player. Thanks for the post!

Only three RBs had 7+ seasons with 1,000 rushing yards on 4.5 YPC: Barry Sanders, Jim Brown and Fred Taylor. He should be in the Hall of Fame. See my channel for a more in-depth breakdown.

mad respect to Fred Taylor - I'm a Steeler fan and I always felt like this dude was criminally underrated. He is a total gentleman too - no posturing, just power and talent. I remember the Fragile Fred nickname, but man - his total career was something special. I feel like people and news pundits never really gave him the time of day for whatever reason.
