Wasn't expecting this, but the title of the video probably hit all of us like a ton of bricks. Tears are still flowing. Fred was one handsome highland that loved his ladies & his cake. Chad, you did everything in your power to help him. Remember that! No matter how big or how small, losing an animal is difficult. It never gets easier. You have so many good memories & you loved him dearly. I will keep you & the family in my prayers. Who know Chad, maybe Fred left a part of himself with one or both of the ladies. Oh Chad, I’m so sorry. Your voice had me crying instantly, the desperation and love you showed Fred was special. He knew you were trying to help him. Watching Adler process this was tough and you held it together well Adler has been taught all the right things, everyone and animals too goes to heaven. We will once again see McFred, happy, healthy and soaking in pond on hot days. Chad you did everything right, sometimes our fur kids just can’t keep fighting. Much love to you and the family.

I cried every single time you started to cry. So heart breaking. As a farmer myself, we tend to get attached to our animals. That is how we love them, spoil them, teach them, and they become your babies. You protect them and do everything humanely possible. God wants us to have those bonds.
