2 things Boone should of left weaver in instead of putting a pitcher who hasn’t pitched in a month. Judge needs to wake up. This is where big guys show up and legacy’s are defined. Judge needs to hit atleast a couple big homers or he’ll be defined as the best regular season hitter. It’s only one game but that felt like more. Quick turn around will help Yankees since they have no time to dwell on it. I actually think they’ll win game 2 and this has the makings of a 6 or 7 game series.

Tim Hill, a lefty, was in the bullpen warmed up. He has a 1.59 ERA this postseason and a career 0.84 postseason ERA. He or Weaver would have been far better but Weaver was in for the 8th, that would be pushing it since he was already at 20 pitches. Hill was the call. They will never win a world series with Boone and Cashman, straight up.
