As much as these musicians did get ripped off (especially on the publishing) they were VERY lucky to have the opportunity to play music and earn a wage. I can tell you here in Canada, that's very rare these days. If people wonder why music now isn't like it was back then, it's partly because the musicians aren't able to dedicate themselves to the music full time. So they don't develop.

I remember being around Fredie back in the 80s he was living in Bayswater we use to play football in Hide park, which was just down the road. Docter Peewee use to blend up some concoction which he claimed to be very good for us those were the days when we exercised daily and played football for TTI. I think that was where he got the inspiration to write the song Jogging, those were the good old days with bredren like Dave Gad,Peter Simeon, Ricky Levy, curly Judah, Pops Levy and many more including sistrens too. Big up yourself Freddie.

Freddy was one who went to sheshemane in the early 80,$, he also was a very good family man, buisness person,stauch 12 tribalist,Bruce colphin was brought to Jamaica by his client Freddy to educate other artists about music protection,I had the pleasure of marrying 2 couple@ NYC south st seaport Caribbean tourism organization & Freddy song to the newly Weds,real person,my favorite song is Bobby Babylon by him
