What a light on the horizon this young man is, every ride is probably simply the best you could experience. The little places to stay are undoubtedly as splendid as you would ever find for yoür buck and of course, his trade mark in his own words, the next coffee is without a shadow of a doubt going to be the best ever. Plus the bikes...... why isn't the rest of the world like this.... best of luck, fine young man.

Have you ever thought Freddie about the countless miles of dry stone walls? Personally they fascinate me when you think about the history of them, locally quarried stone then transported by horse and cart back in the day and then all built by hand, must have taken years, an everlasting job. Ride safe.

Yorkshire Dales TET is what I am planning on visit this year. Two things Freddie: when ridding on those gravel roads and off road in general its much easier to control the bike when standing on the foot pegs rather than sitting down and bouncing around. If you liked it and planning on doing some more the least you should do is get a pair or motocross boots. Don't ride dirt in road boots, its not worth to risk injury and legs are on the first line.

Hi Freddie, enjoyed this episode immensely! Last year we landed in Harwich from the Hook of Holland and after having a “full English” in Colchester, we rode over the Cat and Fiddle in the Peak District and then onto Reeth in the Yorkshire Dales. The intention was to spend a night and then move on to Cairnryan to catch the ferry to Ireland. The Yorkshire Dales captured our hearts and it was four days later we left via Tan Hill. Sitting here typing this in 35 C heat in QLD planning our return to the Dales for two weeks this year. We spent a rainy day in Richmond so are looking forward to your next video!

Beautiful views! I learned on dirt but after 50+ years of mostly paved roads I have to remind myself of the one HUGE difference. When cornering on dirt, get the bike down and your body straight upright. For example in a left turn get the left arm straight down and the right elbow up! It’s amazing what a difference it makes. It goes against everything you have learned on the street but it is what the bike wants.

These beautiful Yorkshire villages like Grassington, Hawes, Reeth etc are completely different in the summer when they can get very busy indeed.
