i get a error when trying to activate the camera update button, i also dont seem to have any preference options (like to change the colour of the menu when active). Very cool, have been hoping for something like this

Looks great! Thanks for the extensive tutorial. deinstall, unzip the installation file,rename the inside folder “gs_render_by_kiri_engine” and rezip to that name again. install again

Is there a why is not working with Cycles?

Alpha transparency and transparent rays work totally differently between Cycles and Eevee. The number of transparent layers would make Cycles explode if it even could work.

@@BlenderAddon-fromKIRI what a shame, I saw that Vray 7 has included Gaussian splat, I think they use Raytracing so probable there is a workournd, but completely exceed my knowlage :)

Great question! It should work with any 3DGS's PLY files, but we haven't tested other than the KIRI PLY

This addon looks great! but the splat points aren't rotating to my camera view, could this be because my splat is from lumaAI not KIRI?
