Hello Taylor, great learning for me. Very recently moved over from a DSLR to the Z6 II so i am happy that you use this for reference. Operator manuals are impossible to decipher and these practical sessions help make a poor amateur into a more capable amateur. Thanks

That was great! I am saving for my Nikon Z2 and hopefully will have it soon! I made a terrible mistake when I sold my Nikon D810 for a Sony A6400 thinking it would produce decent photos, I was really wrong but for video it is quite good.

Have you tried the ND filter+long exposure method while trying to shoot a downtown Banff style shot? I saw someone try that recently in a downtown area and it turned out pretty cool. Since you only had a few cars and pedestrians in downtown Banff it might've worked for that shot. They did it with a 15 stop ND Filter with around a 8-16 minute exposure in a busy downtown area. It had some car streaks in it, but it was way more busy than Banff was

How is the weather seal of 24-70mm S, any dust or moisture gets inside the lens. I mostly use prime lenses for years, so thats the only concern about this S lens. Thank for the video, it convinces me more toward Nikon.

Mine has been perfectly weather sealed with no issues. I got it around release day, so it’s probably one of the most used ones out there

Lovely as usual. I can't get to get my hands on a Z6II. Do you think that the 24-70 f/4 is good enough as a kit lens or would you suggest to save some money and go for the f/2.8? I don't want to spend too much money because it's going to be my first full frame/professional camera, but at the same time I want the investment to be good and to last a lot. Thank you for your videos!

As a wedding photographer, the 2.8 is very useful. As a landscape shooter, it's a nice to have, but the 24-70 f4 is really incredible and a bit easier to pack if you know you're going to be at or above f4.
@Skye_the_toller3 жыл бұрын
You can't see the difference between those 2 lens! the cost to have the 2,8 instead of F4 is quite significant. Consider also the size and the weight of the lens. I used the F4 for travel... sharper than the Tamron G2 and so compact. I now have the 2.8 (Xmas gift lol)... and it is just for the 2.8... not sure it is worth it...

@@TaylorJacksonPhoto Thank you for always answering our questions! It's really helpful to have the opinion of someone who has experience in the field. I think I will go with the f4 to start with and I'll see along the way how it goes. Cheers!
@FM-fh3zt3 жыл бұрын
@@Skye_the_toller Why aren't you sure it was worth it? Thank you for your answer btw, I think I will go for the f4 mainly because of the cost difference and I'll see along the way how it performs!

@@FM-fh3zt You can check the sample pictures from dpreview. Make sure you look at the picture at 100% zoom and compare. I own a D7200 and the 35mm 1.8f is way sharper than my kit lens. I only use kit lens when outdoor with good lighting. I think 2.8f should be a lot sharper.

@@TaylorJacksonPhoto totally worth it. I decided on the Z system moving forward after much GAS. That 24-70 f/2.8 is pricey though
