I did some really good vocal separation with UVR (Ultimate Vocal Remover) a program you can download. You need to watch some YT video's for the right instructions, but that one is FREE, it's on your computer (also on mac) and it works great, if you put some time in learning the basic steps.

I like where this technology is heading to 🙂 Maybe some extra information that is useful to somebody regarding using the free version: I couldn't download any track of a KZbin link that the tool analyzed, but I was able after login to upload a MP3-file and download the instrumental track. Thanks for this video!

Gotta say Bob, i was very sceptical about this software, but i did give it a try, I gave it an 8 minute track recorded in the 80s , the original was recorded on 1/4" tape, all the Instruments piled on top of each other, (just starting out, i had no clue back then ) i had never been happy with it, and i tried all the stem splitters that have come out in the last couple of years, But this software did a bang up job, i am well impressed with the final result. Kudos my friend, well done. The downside for me, of course is the cost, but i am tempted by the pay as you go option, i need to get rid of some of the other outgoings, (suno, and udio ). anyway, keep up the good work, your vids are the best.

I have a video that has both a talk over voice and music (I would suppose two separate tracks). Is it possible to remove the voice over and the music... and keep in tack the original voice of the character(s) voice that's in the video?

Hey Bob... can this tool be used to fix a Suno track where the audio was too hot causing a crunching clipping noise? For some reason, sometimes Suno will overdrive the audio like a rookie engineer. BTW, is there a way to tell Suno to dial back the Db signal?

Don't know about the Db signal, but as far as I know the replace works with lyrics or not, so I'd definitely give it a try.

.Hey Bob Compared to Logic Pro it falls noticeably short. The sounds, especially with that Phaser effect, come across as artificial, almost as if they were intentionally designed that way in Udio and Suno. A significant improvement would be if AI tools like Suno and Udio could generate audio tracks separately, resulting in clean instrumental tracks and isolated vocals. But I think they won't do that because they would lose their business model. Too bad then you can do so much more with it.

What I’m looking for is a Vocale remover that only removes the lead vocals. But leaves the back up singers in the song. So far, I have not found it.

Back in the day, ever client in the first Studio I worked had to put 5 Deutsch Mark (the coin was called a "Heiermann") into a ultra pink Piggy Bank that sits near the NS 10 if he asked to remove or "filter" the vocals from a Song. And when he still did't get it, then my boss poured a glass of beer and said: "Okay, can you please filter out the hops now?" Normally that led to everyone being drunk, but thats another story... 🙂

I just compared it to the "High" Settings of Spectralayers 11. Depending on the source Material its equal or a tinylittleminimini worse. But 10 times faster (when you are ike me not having a 8 gb GPU to speed up spl. I am almost intrigued to give it 1 month try..almost...

@@CamariMusic Suno needs to develop 'n tool that generates the audio in tracks. At the moment the AI generates the audio in data blocks and lays it down as it goes along. That's why it sometimes stops when playing and "buffers" because the AI is still generating the audio. When the next block is generated, it continues playing. It's not really audio. It's data that's made to sound like audio. Best way I can describe it. That's why standard AI stem separators will never work on it. I've used the best and most expensive AI stem separators on Suno music and they ALL have the same result. Music is destroyed in the process.

Except AI generated music. It fails every time. I've tried the best AI vocal removers out there. It fails. Music is mostly destroyed. Tried it. Result is horrible.

Not entirely true! You need a dedicated software program for vocal removal! Sometimes these types of programs don't do a great job though, full disclosure!

Yeah this is with AI generated song. You need to try with more complicated stuff like real songs ya hear produced on the radio.
