Another awesome and helpful tip! Thank you so much. It's always inspiration to dive deeper - just discovered there is emissive fog in the local fog volume (your tip days ago) which allowed to create something that looks somewhat like that glowing fog as in John Carpenter's The Fog.

Damn, this is so powerful I admit, i got confused on the elevation thing at first, and tried to go back and make my own water and realized didn't want that either If anyone is using the desert material, you just gotta design the scene with a mind that water is at the bottom, with smooth clay and sandstone above that with hard granite above that Once you grasp what each section looks by elevation, you just gotta erase or sculpt up the elevation as to what material you want to see of course, you can change that out too - color and whatnot

There is a folder named Procedurals and it has all the grass, stones and such that you can easily modify if you want to customize the look of the land further.

@@JonathanWinbush yea I found it by accident and started adding my own foliage and rocks from Megascans. I also use Megascan textures for the grass, rock and dirt. It’s very easy to customize!

These landscape materials are gorgeous, but I need to implement a PCG on the whole landscape and without any material layers for masking i don't know how, any advice ?

its a silly amt of work to make landscape materials work and look good. this is cool looks good. i work as a world builder for a game company and i see i can kind of do the same thing in unreal without making tons of assets myself. i know how to make them but man to make everything anymore takes way too much time none of us has anymore.

you can change max height of each group (eg grass, snow etc). Check the actual creators video about this plugin.
