I got a new stingray bass,love it its a beast! I own a 77 p bass ,had it since high school. I love it but this EB,it's bad but I've never played active basses at all so any added boost but the tone you can get from this guitar is about any genre you wish! From southern gospel ,that I grew up playing! To the Skynyrd stuff.im good friends now with a great bass picker ,Dave Fowler.he helped me aquire this bass! Now im.hoping someday lol, be able to get a US built spector! I met the Apb this summer talked to Mr. Artimus Pyle himself! I consider it my biggest meet ever.i own them tons in my learning to play I'd sit in my bedroom in the 70s and try to play Leon's licks note for note! People really never recognized Leon Wilkeson enough for his riffs,his style,and how he held that freight trains rythem perfectly with artimus kick drums .back then most southern rock bands drummers had dbl kicks! Talk about a workout! But It's amazing the music they put on radio for decades .they were alot like us all!! Back then,music was tough to obtain we had one record shop in hendersonville nc where I grew up,that got the latest vinyls, and I have a 8 track one more for the rd tape if I can find it!!! Then came cassettes! When I was in high school I had hundreds of cassettes!! Hang in there where are u picking now in nashville? I saw you've got in with C C!!! THIS IS AWESOME GURL!
