I can't say how much I enjoy watching your videos, Marc and Trish. Always funny and entertaining but they also have so much good information! I just got my TDS Logistics EFS card and also checked out the RV Trip Wizard App and will be subscribing. Kathy and I will be going on our first RV trip next Friday (KY to TX and beyond?) and I have purchased a lot of the tools and essentials based on your recommendations. I can only imagine how long the learning curve would have been without your videos. Thanks very much and we look forward to season 8.

I really like following you guys. This episode had me laughing and really glad I wasn't out there with you. I'm in Abilene, TX and don't like the cold much. If I ever thought of downsizing from my Grand Design Imagine 2970RL to a Teardrop you just cured me of that idea. I'm sure it's great but at 67 I'm into more creature comforts now. Just saying. I’ve learned a lot from y’all even though I’ve camped off and in sine I was a kid. You definitely brighten up my day every time I watch you.

After years of going back and forth we finally purchased our very first travel trailer (have some special accomdedations we had to figure out for our special needs son and needed a tow vehicle that seated 7 or more--we have a 12 passenger van now) and will be taking it on our summer road trip! You guys have a lot more invested in your travels so that makes a big difference, But 30 - 35 years ago when my wife and I got together I borrowed a tent trailer from a friend and took the family on a month long trip up through California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada and Utah. It was in November. We got a camp site the first night, a KOA near Vegas it was cold. raining and windy all night. I towed that thing around with us the entire trip as we stayed in Hotel/Motels for the remainder of our travels. I feel your pain. Nice Video.

Cool video yall. Trish made me cold just watching this. Hopefully, the electric blanket keeps yall warm at night. I bought a travel trailer a couple of years ago and really enjoy the comforts, you know... bed, heat, shower. But I still really love"camping". I remember camping in the cold, did not have electric blankets to stay warm. When you get a bigger inverter it will drain more just running than most small ones. Fuses blow when the wire gets warm and this blows the fuse, if you go crazy like many do on wire size the fuse will not blow so remember that. Fuses and wires need to be correct size for load if you over do it you will not be protecting the device as the fuse will not blow. So many people think just get the huge cables and that will work but then you will not protect any devices by the the oversized wire and or fuse. I worked around with batteries and gear for years, it is not always bigger is better. If you are talking engines in my truck then bigger is better, I have a 5.7 in my jeep now and it is fun. Just for your safety and your families do not believe the big cable theory and not provide protection from electronic equipment burning. I adore your family and hope you are all safe and warm having fun. Camping in the cold is warmest when 2 are wrapped in a nice big fur and the kids are in the other tent.

We passed through there on Feb 10. Yes, the weather was bad from the 8th on. Before it was really nice actually. Guess I have an advantage: my teardrop has a furnace that I can run all night long because it sips gas and my solar battery setup gives me plenty of power to run it. We were toasty in the Mojave National Preserve (just 60 miles away from Vegas) when it hit 24 degrees and 35mph winds a few days ago. Still headed out of the area - who wants to camp in those conditions. PS: just install a propex or webasto heater depending on what fuel source you want to use. Much better than a heating blanket. PPS: the voltage on a Battleborn battery tells nothing about charge state. It's a managed battery - the only way to have the voltage tell you something is to disconnect any other load on the battery and then measure the voltage. The moment you connect a load the voltage won't tell you the charge state anymore.

You drove right by us... RVing in Boulder City until May. I work in National parks and other federal properties for the day job. Currently working Lake Mead NRA, with trips to Death Valley. We spent last winter in Death Valley too.

6:11 Marc was going to say, "I told you so"; but because he is a very smart man, he switched it up really fast. Good save sir. ;)

Hi, I would like to suggest you purchase 3 military spec’s poncho liners. They can be used in an emergency situation-either wet or dry. They provide instant warmth, weigh nothing and can compress. In addition are very reasonable to purchase and will last forever.

AZ native and fellow RV'er. The rectangular shaped "holes" placed all over some of the rocks is where the Native Americans would place food/bread to bake during the hot daylight hours.

Red Rocks is amazing. We were there at the same time of year about 5 years ago so I know your pain. Looking forward to the rest of this season and next season's rig choice.

Lots of laughs when I'm watching from NZ on a gorgeous mid summer afternoon. That was very brave of you to stand outside talking and making a video. Trish did look a little chilly at the end. Your new learning will need to include ice cooking 😂 and avoiding hypothermia 🥶. Have a wind-less week!

Like everyone else, I am addicted to your vlogs: your good humor, time for each other, interesting stories & adventures, your awesome fitness, etc. One word: the music starting at 20:30 is warped/worn out. Usually your music is spot on. Greetings from cold, windy, snow-covered Central NY!
