Beautiful footage of Mt Charleston. No idea this mtn range so close to Vegas.Amazed at the snowfall. Robert you did good in the snow, it can be unnerving when you sink in the snow. Even more so when on a frozen lake covered with snow and it happens.

Living in the Vegas valley, we’ve seen as high as 117F and as low as 17F . During the summer it is suggested to make online campground reservations for Mt Charleston, as they fill up fast with people trying to escape the valley heat. Robert, how many miles on your new truck?

I thought Mount Charleston was part of Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. But from the map it looks like not !! Las Vegas - A name that spread like wild fire around the world in 90's and was de-facto Entertainment Capital of the World. Perhaps it still is but... has become little "Same Old... Same Old.." type kind of last century thing !!! Businessman, Entrepreneur there have to rethink about the ways to entertain millennials of the 21st century !!! Even that "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign has not changed... it feels like coming to an old city. In stratoshpere, that roller-coaster ride on top the hotel was there in 2009 December. They also have a revolving restaurant in top of the tower from where entire strip can be seen.
