Hahah! I guess I'm not like other RC fliers. I analysed why I started flying and realised that I like to see my plane up there and am joining in with the flight, not rigidly dictating, just enjoying the feeling. And as far as I can tell, the only injuries at Barkston Heath in 2013 were during athletic events.

This looks like fun. Just pay attention. The safety officer at our field would be crappin' his pants over this. I think this is fun. No more dangerous than lighting firecrackers as a kid. Sometimes you just get a short fuse and blammo but the adrenaline is awesome.

Great fun. As far as the "danger wowsers" and "injury police" are concerned it is far safer than your average rugby match where real injuries are an acceptable risk.

Anybody know if plans for that dolphin is available? Every place I've checked has plenty of unusual model plans including a bumble bee and penguin but can't find anything for a dolphin looking model.

Do not let me read about saftey in the BMFA mags again. This sort of flying dose nothing to premote safe flying practice at all. I am very surprised to see this sort of thing taking place.

Oh how we laughed that time when that bloke got his face chewed up by that spinning prop.....The words stupid and irresponsible don't even cover this activity the BMFA should be ashamed for allowing this at an organised competition. Nope I've still got a pulse......
