Iv only had one flu jab and I ended up with agonising pain in my joints and stiffness throughout my body for 4 years. I had to keep working as I got no medical care. I will never have another one.

That's not necessarily true. I was picking meds up from the chemist and making a quick dinner a few hours before everything went south and I got taken into hospital. Ironically I was making a quick dinner because I didn't have the energy but it didn't mean I wasn't ill. Flu was confirmed later on that evening at the hospital. Their covid tests test for both things. Negative for covid.
