😂😂😂 of course, this is a semi-choreographed flow fight. They are in it to grab the money, do a show, don't injury themselves and not do a real fight. I mean, this is a semi-real fight and the result was so obviously obvious, that in a real fight, Buakaw would smash Saenchai. The weight/power difference is just to much, and the technique difference is not enough to compensate for the power difference. Plus they are both super defensive about not having gloves. With 10oz gloves, Saenchai might be a little more dangerous and balance things out a bit more. But still, Buakaw is just to big for Saenchai

That was nice and entertaining to watch. Both fighters holding back quite a bit, not to inflect severe damage to one another in respect. BUAKAW would have done a lot of damage on the outside with his long range I think, and SAENCHAI would have done a lot damage in the inside clinch if they were to go really hard 100%. But overall I would say BUAKAW would take the match regardless. SAENCHAI is definitely getting old and you can tell he is out of shape with his cardio. Both great fighters!!! There is great honour in both fighters, hope they'll be able to provide well for their family after this fight 🙏.

It feels a bit odd to see Saenchai lose like this. However in more "thai style" oriented fights(which despite being special rules this was) Saenchai's lack of physicality against fellow thai's typically is the deciding factor. And that isn't due to lack of effort, he's as tough as they come, more of a result of his stature. Regardless he is still a master of finesse but against someone also highly skilled and bigger in Buakaw the result wasn't too surprising. Either way i both loved and hated watching to of my faves duke it out. Respect always to them both and i hope they got PAID !!
@a.k2156 Жыл бұрын
Saenchai lack of physicality? Have you seen his matches against Nong-O? Saenchai was a beast in his prime and used to throw people around in clinches and his knees and elbows destroyed opponents. That was all before he became show fighter

breaking a finger in the 2nd round definitely affected saenchai effectiveness and strategy. they are both great, i am not sure if the result could have changed if saenchai was not injured, as buakaw has size on his side. strangely, they limited clinching time in order to prevent buakaw to lean on saenchai and make him tired, but the best points saenchai scored were during the clinches. in fact the sweeps - aside from muscle memory - looked a bit like frustration from buakaw. at the end i liked saenchai sportmanship more than buakaw boldness "all questions are answered". anyway glad to have seen these two ... what an era of fighting.
