On old Mac computers from the early 00’s you had a remote that would sit on your screen magically. That remote would work for most era Mac’s. They really need it back or use the built in remote app

Thank you so much , still works beautifully in 2024 , my MacBook has a broken screen , so I couldn’t change my refresh rate to keep my other monitor connection to this broken Mac , so I had to find a solution to be able to control my Mac from another device so I can internally change my refresh rate , and then boot it worked beautifully , thank you so much , follow all the instructions without skipping the video , highly recommended 🔥🔥

Can you switch apps on your Mac through the phone with a shortcut? For example you can cycle through apps by pressing cmd + tab on the Mac keyboard

the ui is very laggy. i would never use it again. also my phone heats up the whole time. and the animations are like super sonic slow motion whenever i minimize any app. very bad experience

Hey Daniel :) Thanks for sharing this. However..... :), as can be the case in demos, mine is displaying different info. The Remote Management On screen at 3:28 mine says, "Other users can manage your computer using the address bce111-m1-mini." and doesn't show the IP address. I did enter it though on my iPhone 13 Pro Max which is running iOS 17 Beta 4. But when I try to connect it says, "Error The port on which the computer is listening for a connection cannot be contacted". Not sure what's up. Thanks.

When somthing is free then you are the product. You may think it is safe however how do you know what the app does in the background. I will never use somthing for free. No one is stupid and spend so much effort and give it for free. Don't be so naive

It does say under App Privacy "The follwing data may be linked to you. Contact Info, Identifiers, User Content, Diagnostics." So that is a lot of personal info.

Can this be done with the MacProo already sharing screen with a TV? I wanna use my iPhone to control the laptop in clamshell mode while screen sharing on my TV. Seems not to be working for me after following all the steps you described. I get stuck after getting to settings/general/sharing. The first option seems locked and says: “ screen sharing - this feature is not available at this time since 'screen sharing' is currently controlled by remote login”

It worked seamlessly for me on the first day of use then second day I whipped open the app… no connection. Won’t connect to my macbook to save my life and I can’t figure out why. There’s no explanation all it says is to make sure they’re both on same network but I got nothing now.
