Beautiful work as usual!! I do have a question…..when fmq, what causes the bobbin thread to “bunch up” or become thick/dense at points? Ie the tip of a fern leaf. Thank you in advance.

If I understand your question correctly, the threads bunch up at the points if you do not make just the slightest of pauses at the tip. You just want enough time for 2 stitches to go in at the point so the movement doesn't pull the toint together with the surrounding stitches. On the other hand, you don't want to 'park' in those points as that will leave a knot like clump of stitches.
