A more objective way to demo this kind of "black-box" plugins is to run some pink noise through it and see how it reacts with a spectrum analyzer.

You can use it on anything, it is probably designed more for single sources and buses but it definitely works on the bus. I used it on the bus here more to show how powerful it can be.
