Just bought one of these to help me “do something physical” during this pandemic. I’m NOT athletic at all. But hoping to get in shape. Afraid of injury(60 yrs old & out of shape!) so thanks for the proper stance info etc. This video helps me feel more confident.

I have an 88 year old student. So you're young :) Take it slow and soft and you'll still get a great sweat. More videos coming out.

Thanks Master! It was good advice. Like most things, I was impatient and wanted to be Bruce Lee right away. But by starting off soft and slow, I was able to focus on proper technique and build my skill gradually.

I'm buying a standing punching bag tomorrow. I have gained weight over Covid. I don't like the way I look. thanks for this video. now I can use my punching bag properly. any other suggestions for women using a punching bag? I despise yoga and shit. I like tough, hard workouts. 💪

Excellent with taking action. Yes lots of women I train love these workouts too. Make sure to warm up and stretch well before strking. Hope you subd to this channel as new content is coming out for bag work.

I got a free standing bag but after a few months the spring makes the bag to bouncy now so I can only hit it once at a time n I can't do fast combos. any tips?

you can use it as a quick reflex target for multiple strikes. Speed and timing will be your new workout challenge. Limit to 1-3 combos and it should work.
