Now THAT'S the kind of video's I love watching! Thanks August. Since I'm living and working in a city that's mostly what I do. No heavy rigging and huge machines. Can't wait for the pruning video.

all right! ... a pruning video coming up! Great video... I was with you with every movement, cut, handling the limbs, thinking through it all from my own limited experience. I'm just about resigned that I might never really be doing this sort of thing... even on small trees... bummer... but getting older, changing priorities, making best use of time... I think I must needs be pulling away from pursuing this work (the climbing anyway... learning curve)... but I still love watching these videos focused and imagining myself making every move.

I appreciate you posting up videos like this of "small removals". I am very familiar with the "freestyle cutting" or I usually say cut and chuck. Having those tiny drop zones always keeps your limb toss skills at a high level eh??? 😉 Sorry to hear your back is still bothering you. I'm praying you'll get some relief sooner rather than later. And the landscaping in that yard really does look great. Thanks again for sharing a bit of your day. Keep yourself safe my friend. Randy

"Ooh, I hit a guy down there." That's why we wear these stylish hats! It isn't JUST to look Fabulous! There are so many pine needles on the neighbor's roof, I can not imagine that needles have not been getting into that pool as well. Was this removal inspired in part as a way to improve neighborly relations? Our Brother says "Climb higher and cut smaller" August has an ancillary to that axiom: "Climb higher and cut lighter!"Thank you for another post, some people MAY have been going into withdrawals! Stay safe my Brother!

I started climbing this year as an amateur for work around the house, I've learned a lot from your vids. Biggest tree I've done so far was a badly leaning 100ft Black Locust. I cut two 30ft tops out of it, I tell you there's nothing better than dropping limbs and tops exactly where you want them to go.

Being 60 years old and having a bad back I understand where and how it hurts especially using a saw, but my saws are a little bit heavier, I do like that little echo you use. Personally I haven't cut much this year, only out at my sister's house, 3 foot diameter beech and a 2 foot diameter maple, the beech uprooted during a storm and the maple was just dead. If I had your nerves I could climb tree's, so needless to say I drop them ( without damaging other live tree's) keep up the faith August, stay safe and keep up on the videos when you are safe to make them 🤓

If your back hurts try crossing your feet across each other while standing up and then bending down and reaching for the leg that's in the back. Do on both sides. Low back pain is often mistaken from tight muscles in the hips.

What mods does yours have? Is it running a 1/4" pitch setup? Gah that powerhead is just something else I've gotta get one, already told myself I was buying a 620p next week it's going to be tough-as-hell to be in the dealer and buying something while the 2511 leers at me from the wall :P
