Hope this sparks some drama for the fanboys! (Also I never signed an NDA. I also have no plans to do anything without express permission from Inmotion.)

We have phone leaks all the time yet the companies still have launch events. If we know everything about a Samsung phone they still gonna have a launch event along with creators posting stuff about it. Whether that makes sense or not is for the company to decide. Several creators have had their wheels for testing and several creators have awesome content lined up. What does matter is the relationship to inmotion and their process of launch. I can relate to not publishing vids about the v12 since I also have a couple lined up yet I can't make leak videos. But that's also how we have you tubers about leaks and reviewers. I would love to talk about it just like you and a lot of creators that have actually ridden the wheel. All in all I would like to see clear communication about the launch date and then we can get all excited for the wheel. Maybe if inmotion would even allow to release our videos earlier before the launch, this would help as well.

Hey Mickey! Interesting video, I totally understand this proposal in your perspective, you've made all this content and gave this input to Inmotion and now things are not happening as expected. However I can also see different perspective, and from some key elements that you described it's urgent to wait instead. Apparently what testers and reviewers got is hand build prototypes. This is an "easy" part in the manufacturing process. Anything that's not in tolerances, you can try again and there you have a few units good enough for testing. Great. However it also means that what you got might be a little bit to significantly different than what can actually be produced at scale. Pre-production and first and next batches are very different. It's about being able to build and assemble reliably in volume, hit all the tolerance and quality requirements, and so much can go wrong here. Sometimes things have to be reworked to the point of the price being adjusted, minor or major specs changed, features removed. Parts from suppliers assumed to be available might not be anymore or in unsuitable quantities or cost requiring more changes. In that sense, it makes perfect sense to be able to secure everything needed in terms of supply chain and manufacturing before any sort of official announcement. And you know what? If anybody in engineering, manufacturing, software development, business or anybody really at Inmotion thinks that it's too early to do an announcement then there's no doubt waiting until everything is secure is the only sane option. We the public don't need to know more or earlier. Looking forward, being curious about a product is by no mean being entitled to force the manufacturer to rush. Many of our wheels have been rushed to market with all sort of bad consequences to the buyers, distributors and OEMs. An official launch event is a commitment. Inmotion is not in the capacity to commit yet if they're still between the prototype stage (engineering samples) and pre-prod. Let's just wait until everything is ready okay? It's clear that from the insight you share in the very same video asking to do things now, the best thing to do is to wait. 👍

Mickey, first of all, if you signed a NDA, regardless of the “being included in the next product develop”, stick to it. Now, more importantly, if the last leak was a major one...then by all means put pressure on Inmotion, like you’re doing, f\or them to “green light” you to release the video!!! Just maybe you could propose a release strategy of 01 video / week to build up the hype until close to the actual launch date. Anyway, best of luck and really, really looking forward to the videos!!!!!

Definitely should just launch it now. With the recent apple event, there had bee a bunch of rumors and leaks... but no one expected the M1 iPad Pro. Whereas with the v12... specs and stuff are already all leaked... so might as well just release everything now with an updated ETA.

I'd be careful around NDA stuff. Best case, they understand and are chill. Okay case, they never work with you again. Worst case, they make it a legal thing (if they have people on the ground in the usa). Stick to the terms of your agreement and try to get them to change. Hopefully those clips at the end didn't compromise anything. (although this would be a smart m night shamalamahands twist if inmotion had been leaking all along and you were playing along to stoke the hype machine.

I know that it sucks having to wait bro, but I think it would probably be best if they simply moved up there launch event date to like next week and then have you release your videos at the same time. I do agree with some people that unfortunately releasing the videos now is not going to get the wheels in our hands any earlier. However I do also see your point that since there are so many leaks with so much information why not just let the actual official videos come out. I think either way there is no perfect answer and we find ourselves in a weird situation

Since I sold my V8, I’ve been in some serious withdraw. In Midwest of the USA, it is nice enough to ride here. I plan to buy this wheel...if they would just release it. Inmotion, call me. I’ll order the first one. No kidding. I gave them a lot of input on what I would like to see in a new wheel last year. And, they appear to have integrated all my thoughts into a viable product. Can’t wait to get my hands on one. I feel like I am losing valuable riding time. It is nice outside. I am pumped. Every day that passes, I am beginning to look elsewhere. If it doesn’t come to market soon, to my dismay, I’ll have no other choice but to buy another brand which I really don’t want to do. Whether it is just bad timing submitting info to the gov., I’m sure it is going to take a while for permits and licensing, just give us a possible release date. Something. Anything. Explain to us what is happening on your end of it. Your customer base expects to be kept informed. Unless, of course, along the way a problem has developed....we’d like to know that too.

It doesn't have range but it has good waterproofing good for my daily commute To work doesn't have that top speed but i live on a small city average ride i would do is 20km & that's more or less 5km... Mickey .. you're in a tight spot man and I feel your frustration. Attn: EUC Companies ... here are a few thoughts to ponder. Insert Mr EVO (new EUC USA company here also) 1. Every Feb ... fly several experienced EUC riders to your facility (China - USA) ... Mickey, Sean, Adam, Marty, Duf, Chooch, BlackCobra (USA) Ian & Afeez (UK), Mike (Sweden) .. and Kuji of course. 2. Pay for their flights, meals, accommodations and pay them for their time ... (get your accountant to do the math) .. and the total is? .. OK put that number aside for a minute. 3. Give these EUCers a tour of your production facility of your new wheel so they can see the assembly process from start to finish .. every aspect .. no videos, we get it, but note taking allowed. (hey you in the white robe ... what's the weight of that bearing installation hammer you're using? ... yikes!!!!) 4. Turn them lose for a few days with your new pre-production wheel ... and allow them to video everything they like and dislike about the new wheel. 5. Use one of the days to have a round table event and video the discussion ... (Mickey has great video production skills and use snippets of these videos - more below) 6. Use that feedback and implement these fixes by (mid Feb - mid Apr) ... that's 8 weeks to fix all of the bugs or design flaws these guys find). 7. Have your production wheels ready to ship by end Apr ... BUT .. 2 weeks before shipping ...ta da In Mid Apr ....PRODUCT LAUNCH ... include what was found wrong using the testers videos, round table discussion (snippets) and your final fixes .. (pay Mickey to build this video) Can you image the InMotion CEO during his address ... showing a video of Chooch, Marty, Adam and the rest at a round table .. discussing what they liked, didn't like and what the end result that was finally settled on? ... "yes these experienced EUC riders discovered several design flaws in ______" ... or ... "the durability of the shell has been improved based on" ... or ... "we improved the bearing installation and waterproofing process because so and so had suggested" ... "and we fired the white robe guy using the hammer" ... etc. With this small investment here is what you'd get .... 1. A solid wheel and safe wheel ... (if you're building an off road wheel, tell us in the presentation .. "this is the market we're going after hence the bla bla bla design, 16"wheel or whatever" 2. You'd have product shipment to retailers in time for summer .. May onward (assuming parts and staffing etc is all good) 3. Retailers would have less headaches dealing with customers finding oh I dunno ... "bearing issues" ??? ... how did Gotway waterproof the Nikola in 2019 but not the EX in 2020? (maybe those engineers who left to form Veteran took that knowledge with them? ... C'mon man ... can't be that hard to waterproof a wheel now is it?). 4. And the rest of your competition would be left in the dust because the community respects the opinions of these riders .. the subscribers of these guys combined is probably 95% of the EUC community. How much $$$ is it costing these companies in post production fixes .... vs .... paying experienced EUC ers to tell you what to fix before it hits production? (bring in the accountant ... sharpen yer pencil ... show us the numbers for EUC-er feedback ... vs .... what we spent last year on returns, fixes, container fires (doh) ... etc). And how much is your reputation worth? (insert EUC company here) ..... "10 EUC'er's is too costly? .... OK knock it down to 3-5 .. but lets fly them in for a week". Mr EVO USA ... I saw your wheel pics a few weeks back ... and maybe you're pockets are not deep enough for the above ... but you're in the USA ... if nothing else, bring a few USA riders to your facility (??) ... pay them and get their input. What about Veteran? ... are they consulting anyone I wonder for their next release? "EUC Company" .... why are you not hiring Marty, Chooch, Duf, Mickey etc? .... Offer theses guys a salary for their experience and put them on a payroll. Not just 1, but a team ... and during the Fall and Winter months, get them in on the design of new wheels ... testing the wheels (yes Mickey has been doing this) etc ... VETERAN ... do you know what needs improving? These cats have all ridden your Sherman ... (who's really working for whom ??? .... shhhhhh) ... I believe Kuji was a consultant for Ninebot.Segway? ... both seem to have dis-appeared .. WTH? Bottom line is always $$$ ... but just a few thoughts to ponder ... and we don't really know what's going on behind the EUC curtains ... so some of these suggestions I know may be impractical in reality ... but ya never know.

Bummer looks like the end got redacted, looks like sleeping made me miss the sneak peak. I would hope inmotion wouldn't be so petty as to let unfortunate leaks and stuff stop them from working with people who help their products. Weather these videos get dropped now or next month I will watch! Don't think anyone is talking about breaking the NDA here, just a push to get inmotion to open the gates. Wheels will get in customers hands when they do. The videos won't change that fact either way. Hopefully inmotion will allow the people working on videos let then out soon. It's fun to watch while we wait for release!

All true at once in my view: (1) Would love to see the vids asap; (2) Get the frustration with information flow; (3) Seems like info leak issues are not so much a consumer concern as much as damaging to other parts of the weird EUC industry system; (4) From a consumer perspective, Inmotion seems to be doing far more things right than wrong - integrating feedback, better safety, better QC; (5) Appreciate your role (and others) in making that last point happen; (6) I am just some random guy on the internet adding my meaningless two cents to the noise of other random voices.

Completely understandable. Company X comes to you and in exchange for your VALUABLE time and VALUABLE market input that you provide to them to assist in the development of their product, they provide "EARLY access" that will add VALUE to your review videos on said product. Then... they, intentionally or not, significantly diminish the inherent VALUE of your videos by "leaking" all or damn near all of the pertinent technical specification of the product. Yeah... I can see where you might be a little more than slightly annoyed by that. Especially considering that you are still being denied the green light to release the videos.

Please, please, please Inmotion, allow the release of those videos now! We can take all the impatience in pain as long as there's a huge surprise coming up but that no longer seems to be what's going to happen.So what's the use? That presentation isn't going to offer us what we really demand in agony : The real approach to the machine through real test footage and analisys on the streets.All this delay is becoming too annoying already and rises mixed feelings towards Inmotion product management.Just turn the drag of those first leaks into an advantage and let it all go into the light. Now that we know there's good material to start loving your new V12 quit feeding the growing frustration...!

It's a 16' non-suspension wheel (also known as: a big step backwards) so who cares?! It's not like your going to sell more of them by holding it back. Release the POS so we can start talking about what we all really want: The wheel after the V12!!! (a Sherman competitor that has suspension). Death to the V12.

Yeah inmotion screwed up with the timing of presenting this wheel SMH now with the upgrades to the Sherman & RS19 my interest in the V12 has diminished. But regardless of how long Inmotion take to release this wheel they will have a great deal of customer demand ESPECIALLY if the price is right it's just a matter of when???

I never trust any review made prior to a release, anyway (photo gear, phones, wheels, whatever). Do you feel independent right now, or do you feel a bit submissive ? I'd be interested in knowing what kind of lesson you learn from this kind of episode. Every youtuber seems to rant in his corner. I’ve lost interest. You should have been releasing a video every two weeks to keep interest alive with factual information. What a bungled job on their part. And the V12 in one word - meh.
