Made him a villien. Thefore not a great man but a low life. But apparantly he was a low life before he left NY. You can see the great person/people at the end in the helicopter Rescue. The Nation there you can see gives the good people a helicopter where as the criminal drug smuggler had to walk and suffered.

I remember when Bobby Smith the aboriginal actor , kulu, came to Adelaide in mid 1986 to do the filming of this movie. He stayed at the same accommodation base as many of us indigenous people lived , Luprina Hostel in Salisbury. He would stay a few nights, with filming done out of town from early morning till late afternoon to early evenings ... And some days he'd be away for a couple of days or a week at different times. He was a friendly old chap and liked his smokes n drinks when he was resting . I think he mentioned he was from north of Adelaide up in the northern part of South Australia. He was a real gentleman and a real bushman. Didn't really fit in with the city life ...

The Aborigines have my greatest respect, through DNA/genetic testing using a lock of hair, they've now worked out this culture migrated from Africa through Asia to Australia up to 75,000 years ago. Its seems unlikely the boy would have got his father to safety, with some of the most lethal snakes a bite, would require anti-venom within 30 minutes to stand a chance of survival. The landscape photography & the wildlife was awe inspiring. The story could have been developed more with the Aborigines, for their storytelling culture is legendary & most is taught by stories & dance.

I adore and glorify the Son of Majesty, the Enlightening Mind, Christ King: he who came forth from the outer Aeons into the upper region, and from there to this lower creation; and who incomparably announced His wisdom and the ineffable mysteries to the people on earth, and who showed the whole universe the Way of Truth, and who gave this interpretation with all voices, and who distinguished Truth from lie and the Light from darkness and good from evil and the righteous from the wicked. From You, every grace has been known to the universe, and life together with the Truth is being interpreted to every nation with all voices. His farm is having financial problems and, to compensate, he starts smuggling marijuana. On one of their flights, the two find themselves on a risky crusade, where the financial return connection may be too expensive when his father is injured in the middle of a jungle and, now alone, he needs to seek help. For anyone who checks the comments before watching these, I’ll kinda briefly summarize the key points to give you a better idea …here goes. There’s this kid Danny (from the Bronx) and his mother dies from Hep C . Upon her death he finds a trunk with old newspaper clippings and his birth certificate. He googles the names, finds out his mother used to be a Go-Go dancer at some seedy underground club … and another name, one he’s never heard before?maybe it’s his father! Since she’s dead he hocks all her jewelry, sells everything he can , and then high tails it to meet him. His mind fraught with anticipation over meeting this… stranger… he needs to calm down, he needs a drink. His mind spinning like the room…. He’s been “Cosbied”! He comes to in a makeshift lean -to in the sweltering heat of Australian Outback….his eyes blurry from the drugs… he sees a kangaroo… it speaks English… the kangaroo is sewing up a gash on Danny’s forehead .. he tells Danny to rest well as his training would begin before sunrise. Danny is confused, from the injury to his head, he must be imagining all of this. Danny blacks out. When he wakes again he is surrounded by kangaroos… they all jump him and he fights for his life. Danny survives and becomes part of the underground kangaroo fight club . Fin

What a really excellent movie, we used to call 'em 'talkies' here in the UK in the 'good old days' ha ha ha... well worth a watch, but if you suffer from vertigo like me (omg if I go over 6 feet i get sooo dizzy) strap yourself in and 'white knuckle' your chair arms at the 'movie' climax :) :) :)

The old ceremonies whether they are in Australia or in the U.S and other countries that the native people do that have been past down. Are really great to see. And what ceremony will be in the future of nows generation. Will be very boring to see. People with their heads down looking at what was called a cellphone.
