everybody complaining just don't get it. this IS NOT beginner stuff. At this level players aren't spoon feeding you the song unless your paying. It actually does you more good to have to pause rewind and WORK it out. I worked on it like 15 minutes last night , and while I cannot play it yet, I did take some of the chords he showed and made my own progression. that's what its all about. You got to learn the language before you can talk fluently, and what he shows is words ,, so to speak. THAT BEING SAID this guy is so good, if he slowed down a wee bit it would help intermediates get it.

What Christmas song is this and is there more? The lesson ends abruptly. This is not for beginners and some of the chords are fingered right, but called by name incorrectly - great progression though. Would like vet to learn the whole song. Chords names with frets from 4th string to 1st string: 1st Part D6/9 - 9,9,10,10Edim7 - 9,10,9,10F - 5,5,5,8 (change to 5,5,5,10)Ddim7 - 7,8,7,8 and 4,5,4,5Cmaj7 - 5,7,7,7Dbdim7 - 6,7,6,7Fmaj7 - 5,5,5,7G7+5 - 8,5,7,10 2nd Part Cmaj7 - 0,0,0,2 (change to 0,0,0,3) and 5,4,3,2 (change to 5,4,3,3)Dm - 2,2,1,0 (change to 2,2,1,3)G7b5 - 0,1,1,2

TOTALLY dug your lesson. I'm just learning uke but have been playing jazz guitar for years. This was a big help in getting onboard w/some swinging changes. Anyone w/any jazz experience should be able to play this within an hour. Your tutorial is quite clear and to the point and the closeups of the chords REALLY help. Thanx!

Thanks Cory I appreciate your time and effort; obviously this is not a beginner lesson. For those who would prefer to learn instead of whine you might try pausing, writing the chords down, look them up, and practice some more!

Very cool chord progression...once you learn your 'chord shapes' like the 6/9's & diminished it all falls into place by ear..dont need charts or tabs.....love it Cory!!

@bromixsr10 жыл бұрын
Jazz standards i.e. Autumn Leaves, are probably one of the easier places to start. Due to the fact that they are more or less based on patterns, it makes them simple to learn, but that is just my opinion

bro, you need to slow down and explain what your doing..Just saying "then to (chord), then to (chord)" isn't enough for some people, and think about what you wanna say before saying it...we can't read your mind. But good song bro..
