It’s FREE! Managed to free up the Honda Twin today but not without some drama. Marvel Mystery Oil worked like a charm! Careful with those spark plugs, folks. I got a little too aggressive trying to remove mine and broke them off. Also made one hell of a mess as the engine turned over for the first time in decades.

This video series features the complete restoration of a 1972 CL350 Honda Scrambler motorcycle. The videos should help anyone whether working on a cafe racer build or a full-on original restoration. I'm definitely not an expert so please refer to your manuals for proper disassembly and assembly instructions. Please leave comments if you have any questions. MMO is found at most auto parts stores. You don't need much but cover your engine with a old towel when you turn the crank to limit the squirting. Next, if you break off the plugs, best to remove the valve cover and you will be see the end of the plugs to loosen, grab hold of, etc.

Hey just picked up a 75 cl360 with only 1116 miles yesterday. engine seized though :( Just poured some MMO down this afternoon. Fingers crossed!

Diesel or PB Blaster,Air tool cleaner. I've learned to experience that diesel is the best it's much easier to clean out and eventually get a firing spark plug

I learn about old sparkplugs the hard way. Now I shoot them with PB Blaster and let it seat for a couple days....and bingo, they come right out.

These buggers soaked for a good 2 weeks. No joke. That’s kinda how I broke them. Figured there’d be no way they wouldn’t come out. Only thing I didn’t try was an acetylene torch...only because I didn’t have one yet. Got one in case I need to do this again in the future. Thanks for watching, man! Currently working on my Grandpas 84' Honda CB125s. Just got it back to my place. found out my family ruined the electrical badly. need to do a wholw new Wiring and Battery. Planning to open up and change the seals on the engine. So far it doesnt seem to be siezed up. Im not sure since I really dont know how long its been sitting for.. WISH ME LUCK 😎👉👉

Yea well I did it and it didn’t work, I took it apart and my piston was broken, so I have to buy a new pert of the top end. 😬 and I don’t know where to get it because it’s a jincheng jc150y

The plug in my 84 XR200R broke off the same exact way. I refuse to try and unseize it now for fear that pieces of the plug may have fallen into the cylinder. Cranking it now would only allow pieces to fall into the crankcase. Could be really catastrophic then.

I had my bike warming up and i went inside to get my phone and when i came back the engine stoped and a bunch of oil came out the exausht and i looked at the valaves they were full of oil and the engine siezed please give me tips worse day in my life 💔

I’m so sorry to hear that :( looks like it’s time to investigate the top end. A rebuild is likely in order. Or, you could look for a replacement engine. I would be heartbroken too. Top end rebuild is gonna be needed if it’s locked up.

I use vinegar....from the kitchen .Acetic acid ....Does the trick.

Put it down inside the spark plug hole.

You can put quite a bit in. It’ll come out when the pistons move. If it’s really stuck you’ll likely have to do a top end rebuild anyway.
