I have just started to watch your FreeCAD videos, and would like to say that they are clear, concise and to the point. You're a natural presenter...thanks for taking the time to do this.

Just started the interest of FreeCAD by following this your first video in one session, and run FreeCAD in an other session - and switch force and back. Easy to follow, enjoy the topic, so I decided to continue your next video. Great work Andrew, thanks all of your effort to make them and publish to the world :)

Nice example. Thank you. Just a small advice: If you have to enter same dimensions for multiple items - e.g. holes' diameter, it is more effective to select these objects and then choose the operation type (diameter setting). This will change the size of all items at once. You will save lot of time. Looking forward for next tutorials ;-)

I'm glad you enjoyed it Stefan! Thank you for the advice! It would definitely make setting the hole radius a lot quicker! :D

@@AndrewCAD I subscribed because the quality of these tutorials has real potential. One additional efficiency in the hole creations includes the use of the equality constraint. As Stefan suggests select all of them and apply that constraint before you set the diameter, then alter the diameter of one of them and all of them have the same diameter. If you need to change their diameter then you only need to change one. Congratulations on making these tutorials, teaching things to others is a great way to reinforce and develop your own knowledge.

@@paulreader1777 morning Paul, I'm glad you enjoyed my video! I've been meaning to make some more and as it's the new year it's definitely time! I myself am still learning and wanted to share what I had made, so all feedback is much appreciated :D

Thanks for making your videos, Andrew. I suspect the now you would have approached this differently, for example using mirroring on the holes.

Again, new to FreeCAD, and searching for informative tutorials. This is just great. Others are somewhat too fast, and quite brief in selecting the controls. Please, from the perspective of a beginner, not too fast and when selecting the tools, give me some time to find where your mouse went. It may be a bit quick. Long hand is the best, as i would like to learn about all of the tools, and not the shortcuts, just yet. At this point I followed, and with a lot of stop, starts, managed to complete this model. Your diction is very pleasant, and precise. Thank you, I will be following your other tutorials. regards.

That's your first tutorial ? ? ? Cor Blimey! (as they say in London) This is the 3rd of yours I've watched. So clear and easy to follow. I couldn't keep up with you if I was doing it whilst watching but that's exactly correct or it would be too long & boring. I'll just use the pause button if I follow the example. Jim
