Something worth covering is the interchangeability or lack of brand foot pockets and blades. I have used Omar stingrays for years. So comfortable. My blades seem longer and slimmer those those here.

Being a spearfisher, and a 90kg "powerlifter" I still choose the soft carbon blade. Do to the fact that I surface swim a lot when I spearfishing. I could easily swim 1-2km in a 2-3 hours diving trip. I'm sure my legs would be fried if I choose a harder fin.

People tend to get fins that are too stiff. Softer is generally better for most people.

Nice video. One question. If you're thinking to start freediving and already have a nice fins for scuba. Would you buy a cheap rubber fin or will hold and save some money to buy a carbon one?

Mmmm... Buy carbon. You will at some point anyway!

Sorry to be the devils advocate, but are these reviews not all influenced by sponsorship of any kind? Did you get any of these for free etc?

All our reviews are totally unbiased. Some items have been given for free but thats the way if things when you are a professional diver. We definitely dont care if we offend any manufacturers! FreediveUK is not a shop. 🤙
