The problem is now prednisolone from the actual disease itself. I started at 60 mgs 3 years ago, I made it down to 2 mgs last year and had to go straight back up to 16mgs.I am now at 7 mgs and for no reason in this world will I be dammed if I go back up again. I am 3 stone over weight, unrecognisable, due to moon face. It is so huge. I am not the optimistic person I used to be, I struggle with severe depression as a side effect and mental health stuff! these tablets have destroyed me in many ways, I will be so grateful to get off them in 2022, and never look back on this chapter again. Thank you for sharing your videos lots of love.

I have secondary adrenal suffiency due to pred and had an adrenal crisis so then i went back up to 50 and ive been slowly going down again. About 2 weeks ago I went down from 2.5 from 17.5 to 15 and doctors were at first like its so little amount but I had such bad side effects and was proper crying every day and so irritable. I should note Ive been on pred for about two years after having leukemia

Hi Nina, that is so rough! I wish that was the first time I've heard of someone feeling this way, and it's way too common unfortunately. Sounds like you may need a slower taper than that, as you had such a dramatic reaction to that quick of a drop. Bless you Dr. Magen for your channel. I wish I did my "homework " before I took prednisone. Knowing now, because of your knowledge. I am suffering. And also trying everything I can and buy everything that is recommended to heal the adrenal glands... but nothing helps me. And the side effects are taking a huge toll. I'm eating right, I'm activ, plus putting extra workouts but this stubborn fat won't go. I even tried Nutrazon. My period disappeared and it's been 4 months now I'm off the drug. I AM DESPERATE and wish I could consult with you because I'm starting to lose my faith and nothing I do works. Doctors here only say that it takes time but... it seem as if they don't really get the picture and now I'm starting to really feel that I'm losing hope. I really need help and I'm truly worried. My period, the weight, me, taking all those supplements and still, seriously thinking about going back to clonazepam just to calm me down a bit. Now I'm so depressed. Is there any way I could consult with you?

Hi Jennice, I definitely understand needing to know the exact ingredients. My goal in making Nutranize Zone was to make it as tolerable as possible. I avoided anything that could potentially cause bad reactions. Here's a list of the ingredients: Zone Morning contains vitamins A, C, & D3 (cholecalciferol), thiamin (vitamin B1), riboflavin (vitamin B2), folate (L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate), calcium (calcium carbonate), magnesium (magnesium glycinate), zinc, chromium (chromium picolinate, Chromax™), potassium, Cassia Bark (cinnamon), and berberine (from Indian Barberry root). Zone Bedtime contains vitamins A, C, & D3 (cholecalciferol), vitamin K2 MK-7 (menaquinone-7), niacin (vitamin B3), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), folate (L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate), calcium (calcium carbonate), magnesium (magnesium glycinate), chromium (chromium picolinate, Chromax™), potassium, Cassia Bark (cinnamon), and melatonin. I was prescribed prednisone for nasal polyps I've been on a course of 40mg a day for 10 days and then nothing. I've been on this for 2 years and I'm feeling the effects. I don't know what to do because when I come off the prednisone 2 weeks later and I'm back at a point where I need them again. This is because the polyp re grows and I can't breathe from my nose causing my oxygen levels to drop. What should I do??
@marvanbee11 ай бұрын
Dude, your doctor is stopping you at 40mg and not tapering you off at all?!! That is SO dangerous. I also have severe nasal polyps and have been stuck on a 12-day course over and over (more than 2 years now) but the taper starts on day 6. Clearly it's way too fast and sends me into that state Dr. Megan speaks of where I feel like I've been hit by a bus, PLUS the polyps come back in full force by day 3 or 4 without prednisone. I have been giving in by about day 10 and going on another course because I can't breathe or sleep and there is so much pressure around my eyes and head. I imagine you know these feelings. My doctor (GP/FP) is literally referring me to a pharmacist, lol, but also to internal medicine. In the meantime (since that could take weeks) I feel I must come up with my own tapering regimine which I feel fairly confident in but is also a bit scary. My GP refused to send me for regular (even every 3 months) testing so that we would have some markers to see where things are at as I do this. It wasn't even anything complicated or expensive that I asked for...blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol. So now I have to go to urgent care or a walk-in clinic to find a nurse who might be interested enough to get those tests done regularly. Needless to say I need a much more supportive and informed GP/FP. Effing Canada. Our healthcare system is literally hanging on by a thread. What country are you in? Just curious. Best of luck 🤞

Crypto Bunny that’s the taper trap! It’s a super tough situation. It is so hard to know how to proceed since you want off the prednisone but you don’t want a flare. The key is to work closely with your doctor and listen to your body, going as slowly as you can. there is no perfect answer!

I am so disappointed. Yoyoed Prednisone since severe Crohn's diagnosis in 92. Permanently on 10mg since 2004. Up to 12mg after 2 major surgeries (Total Reverse Arthoplasty) in 2014. Hospital broke my back in 2018 and couldn't get below 15mg. Now just over severe Covid19. Prednisone up to 60mg. Could easily taper to 30....but every time I try to go down Img it is days of severe pain, inflammation, brain fog, etc. Down to 23mg....but I am suffering beyond belief. Yes...2nd Addison's dx couple years ago. Have been to 6 Endos in northern Utah...no one really knows what to do with me. I thought I found hope when I saw your videos.....But, like so many others, you just want to sell me an overpriced product that you don't even list the ingredients!

Regarding the list of ingredients, you can find it right here on my website: nutranize.com/product/prednisone/ To make it easier, here is the list from the Q&A section: Q: What are the ingredients in Zone? Zone Morning contains vitamins A, C, & D3 (cholecalciferol), thiamin (vitamin B1), riboflavin (vitamin B2), folate (L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate), calcium (calcium carbonate), magnesium (magnesium glycinate), zinc, chromium (chromium picolinate, Chromax™), potassium, Cassia Bark (cinnamon), and berberine (from Indian Barberry root). To see the product’s labels, click on the tiny image at the bottom left of the bottles pictured above (at that link). Here is a direct link to Zone Morning‘s Supplement Facts and here is Zone Bedtime‘s Supplement Facts. Both products contain tiny amounts of other ingredients to hold the product together: microcrystalline cellulose for the capsule shape, magnesium stearate (to help the powder flow), and silicon dioxide (silica absorbs extra moisture so the powder doesn’t stick). All of these ingredients follow Good Manufacturing Practices for testing and were purchased from the highest quality sources.
