Great episode, Az. Definitely do maybe 15 minute walk-through of the boat specs. Many of us will find it very interesting. Safe travels.

These circular depressions and holes in rocks are called potholes. They can form in very turbulent streams, but you can also find them in ocean bedrock and underneath glaciers. The holes are formed when water consistently swirls in a circular current of water over a large section of rock. The swirling water carries with it rocks, sand and small pebbles. Over time, these wear away at the rock.

Another way to get mangos or other fruit from a tree is throwing sticks. I've seen my Costa Rican friends harvest fruit that way lots of times. They use a 2-3 foot long stick and throw it just above the fruit. It works well when there are plenty of fruit. And nobody has to climb a tree. Great video and adventure, thanks for sharing.

Have you guys ever thought about taking some of those freeze dried vegetable and potatoe buckets you get from those food prep companies. For when you get low on the fresh food stuff you'll have that as back up and it is so light weight it wouldn't have much impact on your boat.

You asked about those round rock pools. They are perfectly round because small rocks wash into the holes and fly round and round like a washing machine on the tides, currents and waves. The friction hollows out the rock perfectly round. You’ll notice every rock pool contains rocks that have done the work. But of course aliens also do this in remote areas too 😂

The rock with round hole probably came from a fast flowing river where a smaller, very hard stone was captured in a hole in the rock and swirled around and around for decades in the hole by the fast-flowing current. I’ve seen similar by a river in northern Canada.

If the green mangoes are mature and undamaged, you can stow them away to ripen. You will be pleasantly surprised in a few days.. In our country we cut up green mangoes and curry them ! Many people add slices of mango when they are currying fish. Curry is best made if you saute the powder with some garlic for about 3 mins. before you add anything else. Flatbread is easily made on a thin steel sheet over your fire. Check the Outdoor Boys channel. Trinidad & Tobago. West Indies.

You usually see that rock hole in turbulent streams in which the current causes a secondary stone to rush in circles, grinding it away - someone else noted this. How the heck it's there is a little confusing - the tide should not be strong enough, so I'm guessing most of the excavation was done in fresh water, then the boulder rolled down towards the sea
