The Kimberley's are perhaps THE BEST area of Australia for adventure, but the most dangerous, difficult and remote places. Fuel is THE issue. Also, sad to see too many cruise ships going there ( although I do support Aussie tourism ). This is 150% on my bucket list to spend a few months by boat exploring the area. Can't wait!

Loving this series. We were meant to be there last April. But the Fitzroy bridge washing out, then a cat 5 cyclone. We ended up in Nhulunbuy… and got 600 mm of rain over 10 days ( 300 mm in 12 hrs….. in a tent) Hope to explore this country next year. We will be doing it in late April, so I’m guessing all of this camp would be under water. Looks like a great spot tho.

I reckon you guys should bring a polaroid camera with you wherever you go and leave some photos pinned up somewhere when you find a good camp such as this. Also maybe a weather proof notepad that you can record your findings and highlights on then the next people (if they're lucky enough to find such a spot) can write down what they found. So the next time you go back you can check it..maybe the found something nearby you missed 🤷♂️ Anyway, absolutely epic video and series. I would love to spend one day with you guys doing exactly this 💙

The feather has the lines on it from a juvenile black cockatoo before going red or orange where the white is, but most likely a falcon if white tipped.. or it could be tawny owl maybe. Can’t see the whole feather to really be able to properly identify it (don’t a lot of birds of prey have stripes on their feathers like that)

At 6:13 the rocks in the stream bed attest to PHENOMENAL flooding at some times, probably with the strongest typhoons. Best to be someplace else when that is going on…. At 23:00, the prospect of getting in croc-infested water at night to get the boats over the rock bars, sheesh! Sure all of the noise and commotion might drive the crocs off, but maybe not?
