FreedomPop Review: Is this FREE Phone Service a SCAM?

Imagine walking through a store and seeing something hanging on the shelf for $5, claiming it delivered completely free phone service. You’d probably be extremely intrigued and confused as to how such a thing is possible. But apparently, FreedomPop has made it possible. Most people would probably just walk past it and carry on, but I had to know what this was about. So I bought it for a grand total of $5.26, so you don’t have to.

Can Paypal be used to sign up for it? Can't PayPal be set to block purchases making it truly free? Also, if you reach the limits, does it auto-upgrade or upgrade on its own? Only looking for a backup in emergencies,
