I commented on this vid before, but this lesson is so good, I wanted to emphasize to new readers/watches how good this is. If you can't play it at his fadt tempo 100 bpm, or even his slow, just do it. The 16th note triplets at 100 bpm is quicket than Bonham on Good times. Even if you only increase 1 bpm a day, in 50 days you will have about as quick a right foot as you'll ever need!

Awesome, really awesome!! Great lesson, great teacher, great video, great audio and the PDF also helps a lot! I am very thankful for this exercise! I have been looking for good exercices to strengthen my right foot and get faster ... and this really does the job!! Although I have to say, I don't think they are that easy for beginner drummers 😁 but defo a great way to improve your foot skills, will incorporate this in my routine. Thanks a bunch, guys!

Another fun idea to better your accuracy and control. I highly recommend doing this with both feet (one at a time) which is difficult but you gotta start somewhere with your weaker foot.

A great bass drum workout is drum beat on scentless apprentice. That used to be a killer for me but the trick is to practice slow. If you can't do it in 30bpm evenly, then you can't expect to play it 80bpm.

For those who can't focus on 1 pattern for 5 minutes, try an AB AC AD A.. system where you play 1 repetition of pattern A, then 1 rep of pattern B, then back to A, then pattern C, etc. This is the only way I don't burn out in a week.

Rohan Roy Just practice, really. Play it really slowly, to the point where you can do it, even if it barely sounds like a rock beat at all. Speed up and eventually you will get up to a “proper” speed.
