@@kittvskarrkr6074 I love how both K.I.T.T. and K.A.R.R. have working lights! I have to be honest here, while I like K.I.T.T., I think K.A.R.R.'s voice is much more distinguished than "the inferior production copy." (His words, not mine. You rock K.I.T.T.!) Also, apparently I got George Armstrong Custer's rank incorrect. He was actually a Colonel. Fun fact: He was a real officer who lead the attack on the Lakota Indians in The Battle of Little Bighorn. He was killed in the conflict, giving it the nickname "Custer's Last Stand." I actually visited the sight of that historic battle while on the road trip to my new home. They erected a museum in that part of Montana, which we visited. I'd studied the battle before, but going there gave me new insight into it! Like you though, I definitely find it hard to forgive him for shooting Rain, and attempting to break Spirit's will. Funny story, but when I was watching Spirit for the first time and Rain got injured, my parents actually thought she had died. I knew better though, since I'd watched a few clips of it beforehand. (At the time I was unsure about watching it since I wasn't too impressed by Spirit Untamed/Riding Free) They still can't seem to see the resemblances between Spirit and Rain and McQueen and Sally, despite the fact they've watched Cars as many times as I have! But maybe I'll convince them eventually! On that note, what is your favorite scene from Cars? It's really hard for me to pick a favorite, but if I had to choose I'd say Doc's lap around Willy's Butte is mine. The lighting and color in that scene are absolutely exquisite, and the score playing in the background makes it even more amazing. AND, it adds extra weight to Doc's speech to McQueen because it proves to the audience that he really did have a lot to give. (He is my second favorite character in the movie, and the one I'm most like aside from McQueen) I also love when Mater accepts McQueen as his friend. The look on McQueen's face when Mater tells him that he "made a good choice" in his best friend says so much with so little. It's such a subtle little thing, but you can see how much those words mean to him. He may not realize it yet, but he finally found the very thing he was looking for all this time! It's incredible to me how somehow Cars manages to have so many great, impactful scenes that take place back-to-back, like Mater getting McQueen to stop and think about "What's so important about this race of yours anyway?" and Sally talking to him about integrity, or Lightning witnessing Doc race and Doc telling him about his past. P.S. Remember how I pondered what would happen if Lightning and Sally were tied together like Rain and Spirit? Well, I wonder whether or not she'd have enough horsepower to hold him back. After all, he's got a NASCAR-style V8 engine, and she only has a 3.6 liter L-6 Cylinder. I guess it's just a battle of American grit vs German craftsmanship. BTW, I just wanna say, it really means a lot to me that you're someone who appreciates Cars like I do. Most people I know (even the ones that do like it) don't really see it the same way as me, and it's very thrilling to be able to engage in long, thoughtful conversations about it! It's a shame you aren't able to articulate these things more often with others because you're very eloquent with your points! Seriously, where the heck have you been all my life? Also, if it's not too much trouble, how are you handling the grief? I know there's not a lot I can do, but I'm here for you. I was sad to hear that Popeye passed away because my dad actually thought the voiceover in that video was my voice! And, how was your Thanksgiving?

@@TheAnimationConnoisseur how do you know that KARR says that phrase to KITT? Did you happen to watch anymore Knight Rider then what you have agile me so far? Also I'm really impressed by your history of all this knowledge you have of Custer. Makes me appreciate Spirit more! I thought Spirit Riding Free was good but Spirit Untamed was a little rough. It still wasn't terrible though, and is actually very harmless to the franchise. For my favorite scene in cars I really like the same with McQueen and Sally driving together, I love the soundtrack and how the scene gets more intense with its colors as McQueen starts to realize how much he loves the town and Sally as his soul mate. I also love how you can reenact this very scene in Cars Land. Once I post my Spirit video and get a few edits out of the way I will definitely post the day I had in Disneyland. Of course I also really love Doc racing around with you as he's my second favorite character as well. I also love Sally and Mater as a tie. And I adore the Shaboom scene. Just watching those two cars cuddle together just makes my heart melt. Just the way Sally leans on him and is so grateful that she had found him, or he had found her. And how much in love they are. McQueen in that scene reminds me of a cat as you know from NED Wheeler's video. And DITTO! I love talking to you because it gives me the opportunity to analyze every little thought that runs through my head over my favorite things. And you are able to appreciate them and share some of that same feedback over to me! I am handling my grieving fine. My neighbors have since then said sorry a bunch of times and gave me a bunch of big balloons for my birthday since they own a Party America. She also gave me a cactus. It's a cute one too, I don't know what type it is but it's not too prickly. I still miss Popeye and blue because nothing will ever bring them back but I'm hopeful that one day I will see them in the afterlife. Because chickens are proof to me that animals indeed do have souls. For the little bird brains they have they are able to prove such love. And my Thanksgiving was fine! I posted this video, got to talk to you and I watched Home Alone which is a traditional thing we do! How was your Thanksgiving? ( PS, I'm very thankful we've crossed paths)

@@kittvskarrkr6074 What do you think would happen if Garthe Knight and K.A.R.R. teamed up? They actually did in a video game based off the show! On that note, do you like video games? I'm a bit of a gamer myself, but not overly hardcore about it. (If you know what I mean) As for how I knew what K.A.R.R. said, I watched some clips of Knight Rider (mainly from your playlist) since I hadn't seen it in awhile, and wanted to revisit it! (also it was listed on the show's official wiki) My Thanksgiving was pretty simple, but still enjoyable. My mom cooked a delicious meal, filled with everything I love to eat for Thanksgiving dinner! While we were eating, we went around saying what we were thankful for. I told them how thankful I was that God had delivered me from the seemingly all-consuming darkness that was my life for about two years now, and given me newfound hope in him, people, and life in general. I actually watched Home Alone for the first time last year, and I absolutely loved it. All the ways Kevin managed to torture Harry and Marv had me in tears. 😂😂 I was actually about to ask whether you liked Sally or Mater better, so thanks for clearing that up! I like Sally just a teeny tiny bit better than him, (she's third on my list of favorite Cars characters, and Chick is 5th.) but he's not too far behind. I find it sad how many people in the Pixar fandom hate him (though I mainly blame that on Cars 2) because honestly he's one of the best-written characters I've ever seen in my whole life. And that's saying something because comic reliefs usually don't fall in my good graces. Often times (though not always) I find them more annoying than entertaining, and wish they could be less aloof and able to take things seriously. But that's never been the case for me with Mater. What makes him such a brilliant character is that despite the fact that he may not be very intelligent, his simple outlook on life allows him to have moments of brilliance that make both the characters, and the audience think. McQueen was so fixated on winning that he was unable to see that the answers to what he truly desired were right in front of his face. But because Mater has a less complex mind than his, he doesn't overcomplicate everything and is able to see clearly what Lightning could not. This is also why it always breaks my heart when Sally says: "I hope you find what you're looking for." because he finally did. (And yes, I also love how he cuddles up to Sally during the Sh-Boom sequence. ❤) I do agree though that he works a lot better in smaller doses and should stay a comic relief, not a main protagonist. But I admit it, I can't help but love his relationship with Holley! 😊 It's a shame that never went anywhere due to how poorly Cars 2 was received. Though in my mind, it's FAR from being the worst movie Pixar has put out. I was wondering what would happen if Spirit and Simba met. I feel like they'd gain a mutual respect for one another with the odds that they've overcome, and how well they lead their people. BTW, it's really cool that you got official toys of Spirit, Rain, and their foal! It always makes me so happy seeing couples I ship get married and have children! Also, here are some cool fun facts about Cars I find fascinating: 1. Both the Motor Speedway of the South and LA International Speedway serve as metaphors for McQueen's state of mind at the beginning and end of the film (respectively.) Motor Speedway of the South has high banks and is super wide-brimmed, so you can't see anything from the outside world inside of it, not to mention it's set at night. This symbolizes how narrow-minded McQueen is at the start of the movie. LA International on the other hand is far shorter and wider, which symbolizes how open-minded he's become. 2. In the first act of the film, McQueen's paint is shiny and sleek, but during his time in Radiator Springs, it starts to become much more dusty and scratched, symbolizing how he's becoming one of them. It's not until he's given his makeover that he regains a glossy sheen, but this time it's far more brilliant and vibrant than it was before (signifying how he's made room in his life for other things) The final paint job he sports in the film's epilogue is a combination of his Piston Cup livery and his Radiator Springs makeover. This represents how although he still takes great pride and enjoyment in his profession, he's also learned how important it is to slow down and appreciate life! 3. Originally, McQueen was meant to have his spoiler on for his "Crusin'" appearance, but the computer made a mistake and didn't render it on. They were going to add it back on, but Lasseter thought McQueen looked so much like an old classic car without it lead to them leaving it off. P.S. Sorry about the constant delays with my replies; something is definitely wrong with YT comments. It doesn't seem to like me writing longer messages unless I edit them into other shorter replies.
