here is a demo of KARRs basic functions.
and for the ppl who don't seem to understand the term "rebuild" and keep telling me it's wrong, it's not supposed to be an exact replica. the car is built from a Camaro and is not meant to be to TV show spec!

I like the conversion that was done. I like the fact that it's different since it has was built on an IROC. Plus, I haven't ever seen a conversion done with a convertible. Everyone does the T tops. Very cool.

what did you do about the upper frame rails in the front??? i know you can put camaro fenders on a TA but not the other way around because the ta fenders swoop down so low

as long as you swap everything, it isn't a problem. you also need to swap the bumper support and it will bolt right up. and you just move the clips from one set of holes to the other and you're good

That's an impressive KARR you have there! I like the fact that you took / rebuilt KARR from the many pieces where KITT destroyed him in that one episode (KITT vs. KARR was it?, I forget) and mixed in some newer Trans Am pieces in with some of the original Knight Rider / KARR pieces.

yeah, it was (and still is popular because of the car lol) broadcasted on TV Asahi in the late 80s. Kinda funny since TV Asahi also broadcast Kamen rider, and knight rider (since both share that "rider" name but no relation to each other) lol

The scanner has the wrong sound effect. Kitt and Karrs scanner sounded totally different for each other

the startup sound came from another creator and was made for KITT. however... the scanner sound after the beginning is the correct KARR scanner sound. it was lifted directly from the Knight Rider DVD episode 2 Kitt Vs Karr. but it doesn't really matter because it is not meant to be an exact replica.

it really depends on your area. every state and country has different laws. for me I had problems when I had the red scanner when it was KITT. the police said I couldn't have it on while driving. when I switch to building a KARR though it was never a problem because it was Amber and not red. I've also heard of some people getting pulled over for having their tail lights to blacked out

@@ken0hki But is it a dedicated backup camera, or just a rear cam? Backup cams show lines on the screen to tell you where you are in relation to other objects and help with parking, whereas cameras that aren't specifically for parking/backing up, like a regular dash cam, don't have any guides.

Looks like a Camaro Trans Am Hybrid. The body types of both cars are virtually identical. You can swap parts from one to the other if they are the right year and generation.
