Freelancers Board Game Review (Vs. Forgotten Waters)

Hey again everyone, this time we're reviewing Freelancers, a story board game hugely similar to its predecessor, Forgotten Waters. While the story isn't as good / engaging as FW, Freelancers offers a very similar experience with half the time required. Game's honestly decent, but kinda pales in comparison to FW. Though thanks to the great play duration, we get to play it more than FW. 4 hours play duration of FW is nutty lol.
Another thing I didnt get to say in the vid:
- Freelancers has a 'roleplay' kind of prompts, where you have to literally act out one of the things happening in game. eg. You need to lift everyone spirits, now act it out! I don't know how I feel about this addition, honestly if anything I'm not a big fan, but thought it wasn't a big deal since the game literally gives you an option to skip it.
Personal life wise, I was hit with this huge homesickness for a while, around when I uploaded the board games cafe video. Up till now I still wan to eventually return back to Indonesia, the only problem is idk what I'll do. I make a decent living here in Perth working for people, but if I work in indo I'll get like probably 1/8 th of what I get here with way more hours too. Hopefully my channel can take off somehow so I could just do YT at home, I really miss Jakarta.

Yeah duration is worth SO much. For all practical purposes it basically reverses the scores: 7/10 FW, 8/10 Freelancers for me.

Yeah 4 hours for a scenario is quite rough and I don't like doing half and half either. The addition of voiceover speed adjustment seems like a slam dunk for this but maybe the game's a bit too old for them to put more $$$ into?
