Freeland had “long conversation” with Trudeau amid reports of growing tension

Speaking in Markham, Ont., on Tuesday, Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland addressed reports of growing tension between her and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, following a tour of an energy utility facility.
Responding to a question about whether Trudeau has assured her that she will stay on as finance minister, Freeland responded that “the Prime Minister is a very eloquent man and leader, and it's for the Prime Minister to speak for himself. It is true that I had a long conversation with [the] Prime Minister on Friday.”
“To serve as minister in a cabinet, you do need the support and confidence of the Prime Minister - that is especially true for the deputy prime minister and finance minister,” Freeland added. “Speaking for myself, I do have the confidence that I need to do my job effectively.”
Asked about whether she has spoken with former Bank of Canada governor Mark Carney, who has been reportedly identified as a possible finance minister successor, Freeland said that she speaks with him “often” and that he is actually her son's godfather.

I can't listen to Freeland, it's extremely annoying and makes me more angry, it's just not healthy being so angry all the time. I just came for the comments. Replacing Freeland won't fix anything, and won't change my mind on election day. I've made up my mind and have tuned out, there's nothing to do but wait for the election. I'll however try and find ways to help get the Trudeau government kicked out, they must go or we're in for much worse times ahead.

Clarification please : Carney is your Son’s Godfather… and you speak with him frequently? - Does that mean he’s been the real Finance Minister all along? Only Orthodox can Christen in an Orthodox Church. I have twice. - Does that mean Carney is Orthodox? Or does that mean you are not Ukrainian Orthodox? Also, how did you get first elected to Parliament, and who were the opponent candidates in your riding? - It says here you had no opponents.
