its a linear function. y = mx + b. -3 is the b value and the x value is 1 (aka rise over run), which is the same as 1/1.

There is wrong with 2x-15, x>7. When u put x=7, it gets -1. So the grah starts from x=-1 just below x=7. But have drawn it above x=7.
