Did it today, straight after the blue trail it was such hard work after doing the blue without stopping.

I rode this in the soaking rain and as someone with almost zero wet weather riding skills it was tough but fun, would love to ride it in the dry, Verderers is amazing dry

I'm going in a couple of weeks. Was just wondering if it's worth booking the uplift service? Did you do that? How long does it take to push back up again?
@bikeandbeyond4 ай бұрын
The uplift is worth it if you are doing multiple laps of the downhill trails. The push up is doable on an ebike in about 10+ minutes, but it’s still steep. You can do it on a manual bike in around 20mins but multiple laps becomes a bit of a slog.

Great video again! I just got a Giant Reign 29er after weeks of researching, but I will keep my bizango as well. If you are interested Giant still have some stock left in the UK, however mostly 29ers left only.

Was hoping to have my Bizango by now, but Halfords still don't have any stock (nor the Carbon Bizango too) and they refuse to give me a response when I enquire as to roughly when they'll have it back in stock. Looks like I might miss out on some decent Summer rides due to this. Although to be fair to Halfords, everywhere I've tried for the four or five bikes I've whittled my list down to don't have any stock either.

Tell me about it. I have been looking at some full suspension bikes and the three I was looking at are all out of stock, or can be dispatched until October!

Seems like they’re getting some stock in slowly. I just ordered the Bizango yesterday and picking up from Halfords this week

I agree , it not one that I'd like to do in the wet . Those roots were bad enough in the dry 🤣. Let me know when your next going and I'll meet you down there.

You are not wrong mate. I rode the extension back in December and I hit the deck so many time due to the slippery mud and roots. Thank god for kneepads! I will definitely give you a heads up next time I am heading that way. I am always keen for a ride!

I think you should invest in a dropper post for the bizango because it’ll make climbing and descending a lot easier

Yeah they are awesome. Here is the video of the brand x dropper I put on the Bizango kzbin.info/www/bejne/nZaXk6uuqK15o7M

Love the content as always mate. Have you had any issues with the bizangos hub bearings?
@bikeandbeyond4 жыл бұрын
Not so far mate. All my issues seem to be bottom bracket and pedal related.
@bikedaft16114 жыл бұрын
Bike and Beyond I changed to the Boardman flat pedals. They’re really good apart from they are pretty bad for getting bunged up with dirt and grit. But I’ve also found my rear hub to have a noisy drone when spinning. So thinking of upgrading the rear wheel. Still loving the bizango but have accepted that voodoo have kept it in the price range they wanted to dominate, purely by sacrificing bearing quality. So they could invest more in other parts. Fair play to voodoo though. A few upgrades in various areas of the bike, and you’ll have a very very capable and reliable hardtail.
@bikeandbeyond4 жыл бұрын
@@bikedaft1611 Yeah I completely agree with that. Its a stable base as a bike but there are a few things that need attention to increase its capability.

This is a great walkthrough video! We’ve always ridden the gravity trails at cannop and have given the verderers a go a few times, but I think we will give the freeminers a go after this. Have you ridden the extension? Is it worth it on a cooler day?
@bikeandbeyond4 жыл бұрын
Hi TBA, thanks, glad you like the video. The gravity trails are great, but I usually have a warm up on on of the trails beforehand. I prefer the Verderers because it is a more well rounded trail. The Freeminer seems to have a hell of a lot of climbing and the downhill doesn't seem as well thought out. I rode the extension a year or so ago in winter and it was a slopfest. I don't remember it being amazing, but perhaps I need to go back and ride it again.

I am exploring all avenues at the moment. 2020 is not a good year to try and buy a bike. EVERYTHING is sold out. I have been looking at Canyon, YT, Black Diamond, Giant you name it. Anything around the 3k mark is my budget at the moment.
