On the next turn you saw them place all their troops and run them into the cap you stole off them, so they could in fact not have any troops on that capital. As you had already said, they were playing this like fixed world dom and were just trying to secure another bonus, utterly unconcerned with having troops on a capital behind their lines.

Hot take: I actually like it when you get a lobby full of slow players, or quitters, or bots. I'm not quite yet at the skill level (or confident in my own skill) to be able to hold my own against good and fast players who don't quit. I understand this is NOT a good thing lol...but it can be disheartening to get beat over and over again by players who are better than you that games that are absolute cake are often quite enjoyable. Pretty sure I'm the only one with this stance though, thinking it's a skill issue on my part
