We NEEEEED secondary alarms so badly!! It would be so easy to implement and such an useful and way overdue improvement.. I can’t/DON’T WANT to set timers every hour while trying to sleep just to check if my last bolus has worked as expected. I need a secondary alarm if my sugar is still too high after a certain time. Same for lo sugar and food

Just got my libre3 and the numbers are 25-35 points higher than my Pogo. We checked the Pogo against my doctors monitor and they were the same. Why is the Libre3 so much higher?

Abbott is hard at work at modifying their chemistry to make it work well with vitamin C to get this approval. My understanding is that this will be with current versions of Libre but Abbott hasn’t made an official statement on that.

Freestyle Libre 3 does not have Apple Watch integration sadly. If you would like to try something DIY ( do it yourself) you can use xdrip+ on Android. Options on iPhone are limited at the moment. Hope this helps

They slowly rolling it out across Europe. In the UK , it is still onto available via selected NHS clinics and not available to purchase directly from Abbott. I will share timelines when I know them 😁

A question, how does libre 2 compare to libre 3 with accuracy? I am in Australia, and we haven't had the libre2 for very long . I have found the libre2 far more accurate then libre 1, except it has been prone to more duds, with try reading again in 10 minute's, and then say sensor fail, change sensor. But when working well, have found the libre 2 very good.

I've found and I know others I've spoken to on forums have found the same that being in hot or cold water affects cgm readings probably due to the effect on blood flow to the local area..I wonder how this would affect hybrid closed loops..is this something you have come across? I only have experience with libre

I want to try libre 3 but I am quite satisfied with my blucon and libre pro as a complete cgm.

When you look more closely at the accuracy data from the original trial, you see that Libre 3 is very accurate in the middle of the two week usage period but shows very poor accuracy at the beginning and towards the end of the usage period. They report the average, which looks impressive. The accuracy fluctuation makes it highly unpredictable in daily use, however, therefore making it a far less reliable product than its main competitors. I am surprised this has not been covered in your video.

How can you compare accuracy amongst CGM if they use different analysis techniques? It only seems reasonable that most people would want the most accurate one.

Same question here. How can testing for MARD not have a standardized testing process? Is there not a 3rd party involved to independently check the accuracy of these devices? Seems to me Freestyle is being a bit sketchy here by cutting corners in order to advertise a better accuracy number than Dexcom.
