I actually got these shoes after your video and I am really happy I did! They feel awesome on my feet and I feel like I can do anything in them: Run on the road, on the trail, go to the gym, play football with the kids, etc. For me they also fit a lot better than the Vivobarefoot Primus Trail which just were way to narrow for me duck-feet. I actually did combine them with the injinji socks, awesome as well indeed. Thanks for helping me making the right decision!

My foot shape loves Freet. I have been wearing the Freet Flex as my only casual wear shoe for 2 years now and they rock! They are similar to the Vibe - Sooo comfortable and surprisingly durable given the materials. I also highly recommend the Freet Tundra, they have absolutely nailed barefoot boots with this one. When it comes to boots most brands I see struggle to get the right balance between flexibility, durability, waterproofing and weight but these have triumphed on all accounts (and they’re vegan). I use the Tundra for hiking and working outdoors… it’s like gardening in slippers. Did I mention the waterproofing is 100%

Yea, that was my feeling too "balanced." They're got everything! The Tundra's look cool, will have to review those towards fall. Good to hear about the WP. Cheers!

Can you tell me if theres a significant difference between the vibe and the flex? I do wear the flex and they are my favorite shoe. It seems like they are being discontinued, so im asking myself, if I should buy another pair or if the flex is equally as good and durable. Any differences you noticed?
@robclarke242610 ай бұрын
@@hhghhggh1201 I don’t own the Vibe myself so I can’t comment but I’m thinking of replacing my flex with the vibe, but only because I’m bored of the style. There are certain items on Freet’s website that are on sale, the Kidepo is being sold half price as it is being discontinued, the Bootee is getting a facelift, but I don’t think the Flex is being discontinued, I’d be surprised as it is one of their most popular shoes.

Is the sizing on these pretty close to a Prio? I have a pair of men's size 10 (us) prios that I'm trying to replace with something that would be the equivalent of a size 10.5 Prio for some more toe room, but freet only sells in sizes 10 or 11 (no 10.5)

Your videos are awesome! Thank you for sharing so much of your insight. Minimalist barefoot shoes have been lifechanging for me. I was wondering if you could share your measurements and which size you wear. I recently ordered a Freet Feldom and the outsole was a little to round for me and the feel was too tight. I am a 26.3cm x 11.2cm and the size I used was a 43. Freet emailed me back and shared the feldom and vibe have the same measurements so I was thinking of exchanging my feldom for a Vibe in size 45 or 44. Do you mind sharing any advice?
@AndrewFolts Жыл бұрын
My feet are about 10.25 in and 3 3/4 in wide. I almost always fit in a 44, which is what I went for in the Vibe, although I haven't tried the Feldom yet. Usually I want a half to full thumbnail's space at the end of the shoe.

Thanks for the review. Really curious to check out the Vibe. How would you say these compare to the BeLenka Dash? Torn between these two at the moment. Also, how is the sizing on this? Did you order your usual size and did they fit well?
@AndrewFolts Жыл бұрын
The Dash is ultra thin and flexible for roads only with an extra wide toebox and the Vibe is wide and still quite flexible but with a more durable sole for some gravel and moderate trails. Both fit true for me.

Hi Andrew I have been wearing barefoot shoes for about a year now, do you see barefoot becoming wider spread? (no pun intended) Its interesting because if I put normal shoes on now I really don't like them, I feel like I'm going to get injured, lack of ground feel and movement. Thanks for all the great advise.
@AndrewFolts Жыл бұрын
Hey congrats on your transition! I'm shocked on a daily basis that barefoot shoes haven't gone more mainstream, but part of it might the whole Vibram lawsuit and people now assume it's just a fad/scam. Also, it takes work to transition and most people don't have the time/motivation to do it.

Thanks for the review! I wanted to ask, how similar are they to Feelgrounds original mesh? I had two pairs of Feelgrounds and loved them, however both suffered from sole tearing after 6 months or so. These look quite similar to me and maybe more durable. Do you think that would be the case?
@AndrewFolts11 ай бұрын
I had the Feelgrounds Highrise, which fit similar to Freet, although Freet is more durable and with better beathability. Feelgrounds is more for fashion, while Freet is for gym, running, hiking, and such.

Yea, that can happen with synthetic materials. Are you slipping forward/back or left right? Or both. Sometimes being too long/wide can cause it too. Adding a thin 1-2mm foam insole can help add some grip.
