Just found you on KZbin. Absolutely wonderful. I live in NZ and have ancestry in England and other parts of Europe. Charles Dickens is my gt gt gt grandfather (or maybe one more gt) since you mentioned him. This video was absolutely epic. To see the site in modern times, as if I was there, was wondefful. I started watching your tours during Covid, starting with your Jack the Ripper tour. My teenage daughter got hooked on your videos as well (I'm from Newry so she says she loves your accent). So after learning so much from your tours, she made the decision to go to go university at Oxford. Her favorite thing to do on weekend is to train into London and try to follow your tours. I'm forever grateful to you for helping my daughter see that university abroad can be a great thing. She is even considering LSE for graduate school - she may never return to our home in Pennsylvania damn you.

Hi, please can you clarify if it's the same thing but I was taught "heads on pikes" at school? Now, on history channel 'spikes' is used. Is it generational....changing of language? ❤
