It’s been very windy so I’ve been running a special set up for the microphone. Unfortunately you don’t hear the jet as good but no wind noise.

Hey guys. Could you (maybe) update the 64mm f-16 with the modular wing system and JUST MAYBE more realistic gear like the f22 or f18? The modular wings could be really helpful for replacement. And not too fussed about the landing gear but would be a nice addition. But I think the modular wings would be most wanted in case of damage. Thanks.

Currently this flight it was right on the book CG. For future flights we will move back a little but it felt comfortable on the book location.

You just put the 2x 4S batteries in battery place and there is not much room to move so you will be OK with CG from your first maiden flight... This plane is very easy to fly... 🙂

What you should do for high alpha is setup the model with a gyro as a deltawing where you can not only toggle taileron deflections vs just ailerons but also have the gyro stabilize roll via tailerons. A human will always be slower correcting wingdroppings at lowspeed high alpha than a gyro. This way you can focus on keeping throttle + angle and let the gyro do most the work in roll axis.

My absolute favorite edf. 8s is the only way to go. Building a 10s version now. My only question is how exactly do you set it up for tailorons with the blue box? Sorry if I spelt that wrong.

You bypass it 😉 you have to run each control into its own receiver port.

Yes if your comfortable with other EDF jets this is a great step for larger EDFs

On a maiden you trim, then fly slow so you can ace the landings.

Definitely. The F-22 has big wheels and a full lifting body airframe. This is one of the best grass opps jets out.

Great flight Wes. The 8S system is the new V2 4075-1350KV? If yes, does that mean the F22 has been upgraded from the previous 4075-1390KV or you did a retrofit with the new V2? Anyways, loving the vid.😁

@@M4rkmcc21 I watched MotionRC’s other video about afterburner light installation and I found my answer. The new 90mm 8S 4075-1350KV has replaced the older advertised 4075-1390KV unit. Freewing have also issued out an addendum stating the same.
