I like it pretty funny articulated you, especially when you lost the sky sword.... the camera was blurry I heard a grunt and I knew right there, as a pilot that's the worst feeling the worst words don't even can't explain it.... but it's all part of the learning.. and that heart sunk feeling,... damn it ! next time I'm going to stamp the damn pre-check list on my forehead... LOL !! Anymore if I start shaking like a little girl I stop and go over everything cuz I know I'm going to screw up....teeeheeee .. wt!!☆°•●•°

Pretty handy flying even with the nasty cross from the quarry. I guess Mike was on cell camera OJT. He's got it by the end.

Great video. Love the real-world rc talk. Thanks for sharing. The 6S F4 is great. Today I ran 4 packs (5000mahs) back to back, swapping out on the runway. Refueling took 30 secs one time. So that ended up giving me basically 12 mins flying time. Look at it like a slow touch and go...very slow touch, refuel and go! Only stopped because I was worried that the ESC needed a break and I could not tell if she was hot or not. I will upload videos in the next day or two.

RC Addict 2.0 that sounds like a good day. The 6s version is a fast bird as well.

After a long hard day at being retired, I go flying, morning and evening. No wind night too. My flying field is 5 miles from my house and the wind can be not blowing at home, but blowing where I fly. Noce jet, wish I had your air field. lol.

Mike, what are the flap to elevator settings that you used?
@scottmarks47346 жыл бұрын
I’m curious to know what anomaly you were experiencing because I’m having one on my F-4. When I deploy flaps and line up for final, the plane does exactly what it is supposed to do. The nose is at a slightly positive attitude and looks fine, but then all of a sudden the nose takes a severe dive. I’ve been able to recover each time, but it’s killing my nerves. I have it set up by the book with just a touch more elevator mixed in with the flaps. The CG is balanced to neutral with gear up, so it’s slightly nose heavy when gear is down. My approach speed is nowhere close to stall speed, between 30%-40% power. Flap deployment is set at 5 seconds. It doesn’t matter if I’m in a turn, or on straight-line approach, the dive happens randomly. I’m using an Admiral 6/7 ch Rx with a Spektrum iX12 Tx.

A bit off topic, but when I was younger I would watch videos like your, always wanting to get one of these planes... Such a nastolgic feeling watching your video :D PS. I now fly a Mavic Pro (drone) for my travel vlogs :D

Sebastian Dylag cool man! I just checked out your channel. I love the Boring Room Challenge video. Check out Peter McKinnons B roll challenge videos, same idea. Are you using the tags feature for your videos?

Hi Pilot Ryan and Capt. Mike, Were you having a “brown out” issue with the Spektrum radio? I have a couple of Spektrum radios, the DX8 and the DX 6i. I had a brown out on the 6i a few years ago while flying a parkzone t 28… it survived but, I have been reluctant to use the Spektrum radios scince. A friend of mine recently lost two r/c boats while using a Spektrum surface radio due to a brown out. I also have an older Futaba T8FG which I have yet to have any issues with. Do you think this is something thats common with Spektrum radios? P.S. Love the videos, they are always fun and informative. P.P.S. I think “Brown Out” is a funny phrase….hee hee
@PilotRyanMedia6 жыл бұрын
Tim Hammond I had a bad rx. I’ve straightened it out since. Thing about spektrum is to avoid knock offs, only use legit spektrum rxs

Why do you keep flying behind the flightline and turning left to final?
@PilotRyanMedia6 жыл бұрын
Doug Cronkhite left turns feel better and I had been having lots of problems plus the airspace was ours,
@dougcronkhite21136 жыл бұрын
Pilot Ryan and Capt. Mike RC A suggestion.. Work on the stuff that feels worse until it feels the same so you're not caught out by an unexpected emergency.. Not being critical.. Just trying to help..
@djmoosecom4 жыл бұрын
I agree with Doug. Ryan, no disrespect AT ALL, but "feel better" is not really a good excuse for flying behind the flight line.
@be0209646 жыл бұрын
