Freewing me262 fpv

Description of some mods I made to a stock Freewing ME-262 Schwalbe (sparrow) to convert it to a "schnellbomber" and digital FPV.
Model will eventually get bomb drop. Flies exceptional! and is pretty easy to land. 6S-5200mah is my usual battery. 5 minute flights.

The optics on that canopy are remarkably good! I have to remove the canopy entirely from my Flex RV-8 or it's like looking through vaseline!

Thx Chris, they are removed in the front for view and vtx/battery cooling, but the aft portion of the cannon is better than most of my jets.

Nice what fpv system? Also are u using a flight controller?

Hi, no flight controller, no gyro. FPV system is a CADDX Vista with a CADDX nano camera. PDI-9180MG pan servo on my own universal mount.

@@tomhuntFPV thank you, I think I’m going to go that route I’m using a speedybee fc and my aero scout is acting weird! Even in manual mode I would rather set up my planes how I normally do and get into fpv that way

@@tomhuntFPV last question.. how do you get the cards vista to arm?

​@@nemonespider I turn off temperature protection from the goggles and it's always on full power. This is the only way to do it without a flight controller. That is why I have an additional heat sink on top of the VTX. in some models I even put a 12v 30mm fan on top.
