Just put 3 flights on my new zeus flew like a dream but did not get the speed had 2 4s 7000 zee packs elevation 3,500 maybe that's it, i did get 130 mph top speed, lands great, I can't say enough on how it handles upside-down was as good as upright, love this jet

I'm glad I am not the only one. I could only get 131 from mine (2 4s SMC 5900). We got bad ones I guess.

As much as I love my foam planes, we all have to come to the realization that they’re really just disposable planes. But maybe that’s the whole point ….you’re not attached to it , there was no effort building it and you buy another one when you pound it into the ground

All your speed passes are coming out of a dive, so your max speed reading is from the dive. How about keeping the jet level?

His whole flight was in cooler weather. I bet if it was flying in 110 degree temps it would be a lot slower🤥

I'm in Knoxville Tn. I've had the Zeus 8s for almost a month. Finally put a GPS on it and in level flight with a 2 to 3mph wind. Upwind 146mph downwind 154mph. Now in a steep dive I got 158mph. Now if the plane lasts long enough till summer..LOL...it will be interesting when Temps hit 95 to 98 degrees and see what speeds I get then. Overall though its a solid plane. Feels like a Viper 90 just without the bad tendencies of a wicked stall. Very twitchy. I fly low (65) to mid rates (75) with about 20% expo and usually at about 3/4 throttle. If you're not going all out with it, you can get a solid 4min. I use SMC 6200 Hi Voltage 75C - 1 6S and 1 2S pack. You don't need a gyro but I do have a gyro that I can turn off and on and there is no difference. If you have the money it's worth it.

Can you fly the 8s version with 6s battery?

No you would also need to buy the 6s motor and fan. The ESC is the same but it doesn’t work without changing it.

6s voltage wouldn't give enough thrust paired to the 1350kv motor.
